Disappointing

This property needs a good update

The location is good

I usually dont leave bad reviews, but this place needs a good update. We booked a triple room but got a double room with folding bed that was not comfortable for our child. Our room was very dusty, the sheets smelled bad. In front of our room was a construction site so during the day it was noisy. Small pools were very dirty and the big one was often used for diving lessons in the morning, so we hardly used it. Our shower was either steaming hot or cold so with a small child it was a challenge. There was a gap between the balcony doors and the wall so lots of mosquitoes (and a cute gecko) were inside the room. Between ours and neighbors room there was a wooden door so we could hear everything. For the money we paid if was absolutely disappointing. We tried talking to the receptionists about the issues but the communication was a bit challenging. It used to be a very beautiful resort but needs a lot of improvements.

Location

Staff were really bad. Didnt clean our room for 3days. We left the key with them every day we went out as requested by them to clean the room and they only did it in day 3 after I complained several times at reception. Lady was very uninterested on the reception!

Avoid this place at all cost

Location and some staff were helpful.

This was the worst hotel experience we ever had, considering the price. It seems that the hotel had its best times 10 years ago and it is not maintained anymore. This goes for both common areas and the rooms. We had a bad check in. All hotels were booked in Ko Tao so we had to book here. They said they were full even though we could book the room via Booking. They than said 'Booking must have put rooms but we don't have any'. After we insisted since we didn't have another option to stay, they put us in another room than we paid for. It was a two bed room bungalow that we shared with another couple. It was a very uncomfortable bed and the pillows were rock hard. We could hear everything of the next door, including loud arguing. After two nights in this room, we could change the room to the actual room that we booked which was a deluxe room, much bigger room as well as a private balcony. First we thought ok, now we will have a nice stay but it actually got worse. The sheets were absolutely disgusting, there were stains all over. Luckily we had our own sheets in case we stay at a hostel but we really didn't think it would be this resort that we would have to use them... same with the towels, full of stains, but that we had our own too. I don't think they wash sheets in between guests. The room had spider nets and big cracks in the walls. Guests here are not here to relax, they are to party it seems.Lastly, our so called deluxe room was full of ants! Avoid this hotel at all costs.
