Superb

Wonderful Christmas time in Koh Chang for chilling holiday

The hotel is amazing. Lot of nature and quiet, even if huge! The swimming pools are very nice, the beach is beautiful. The breakfast buffet is very nice, lot of choice and amazing view ! Family rooms are big and nice equipped.

One single bad element is the room, it is a little old, and smell a little bad (humidity). And the mattress should be renew.

Beach bar prices were too expensive and extremely slow throughout the week so we went elsewhere for food and drink

Usual excellent stay. Love Koh Chang. Love Sylvan (before Seaview

Excellent breakfast. Great staff. Good cart service to get us around resort. More frequent hotel bus to take us into Kae Bae would be good - only 2 a day. Stay here many times. Always good. Resort beautiful rain forest.

Beach restaurant being rebuilt. Building site. But resort big enough to ignore it.

Disappointing

Not 5 stars. Perilous location

The room was spacious and clean

It is a very remote location. The access is at times perilous with very steep roads connecting various parts of the hotel. To emphasise this, there is a funicular lift from beach to restaurant. Breakfasts were in my opinion poor. No bacon or pork. No waitress service,its like a cafeteria not a restaurant 5star hotel. Overall it is a 3 star experience. Some staff were superb eg restaurant manager, room cleaners and sea level pool waiters.

Amazing view and property in nature, good spot to relax and enjoy nature when there is no construction going on.

In nature, great facility

There were constructions going on the whole day from 9 to 5, we couldnt relax during the day outside at our pool villa. Staff told us only one more day but it didnt stop and i assume it wont be finished before new year. Very annoying because they told be before I booked it that construction will be finished end of November.

Very good

Best hotel without spending $200+ but staff a bit slow

Location was nice and quiet, staff very friendly, breakfast was awesome and easy to get into town.

The staff were great but SUPER slow and at times just ignored you. Beach is a sea wall that you walk down to get to the beach.

A very good hotel with a paradise beach

The hotel is positioned in a beautiful rainforest and consists of several units (buildings), so I recommend that you carefully check everything before booking (we were a little disappointed at the beginning because, based on the pictures on the Booking.com, we expected a different room in a different location). The rooms are very spacious, each room has a sea view. In the morning, the monkeys had their own performance on the balcony. Beautiful beach and warm sea. A pleasant beach bar with tasty snacks and coctails. The staff was very friendly and always smiling, the breakfast was phenomenal (especially the egg omelette).

Exceptional

Excellent stay

The rooms and the view were amazing! There was some construction going on on site, but we did not have any noise. We stayed in the Reserve Beachfront rooms, which were spacious and very modern! Staff very friendly and always willing to help get a taxi or anything else. Would definitely recommend.
