Exceptional

The location of the hotel , high above the city set on a horseshoe beach, was very dramatic. . The staff were terrific and the room was superb. The funicular into town was cheap and easy. Return after 6pm was by taxi or bus. I would recommend taking a taxi.

The bus driver wasn't clear as to where we should get off resulting in confusion, a long walk and another bus journey.

Well, the location is outstanding in itself. But dinner was fantastic as well, the service, the warm bread, the fresh dishes we had, mmmm. The statf are very friendly and helpful with any information. We enjoyed staying at Mercure Monte Igueldo ver much and will return for sure!

The best hotel we stayed in during our trip throughout NE Spain

The hotel is absolutely stunning. The location and the views over the bay and the city anyway, but also the hotel itself is proof positive of class and refinement. We had dinner there and it was fabulous, from the service to the last bit of food and wine. Go there!

Lovely. Beautiful hotel with a friendly staff.

The room, the bar area and the terrace.

If you dont have a car is really difficult to reach it. At 18:30 the funicular is closed and the nearest bus stop is 20 minutes away through a road without any lamppost.
