Overall enjoyable!

We had a mountain view cabin and the view was truly breathtaking, as good as the pictures. Sapa itself is so stunning that the whole experience was worth it just being in the region. The room was gorgeous, nice bathroom - if you have a chance, you should really try the included Hot Pot lunch special at the main hotel (it's some of the best hot pot we've had)

The room was FREEZING which is fine due to the region/time of year but there didn't seem to be any way to heat it up. The beds have heating pads on them which is nice but the room itself got really cold. The biggest thing was the noise...there are a lot of stray dogs that start barking at night, cars going by/honking constantly, it was so hard to sleep. We live in a big city so noise is something we're used to but being in a relatively quiet place where the only noises are super noticeable made it really hard to sleep The other thing is the cabins are quite far from the main hotel/town. It wasn't really an issue for us and they have a great shuttle service. The only time we felt the distance was around dinner time where getting food was harder and the room service is not very good

Amazing location in luxury resort

Amazing location with fantastic views from our Mountain View bungalow. Brilliant electric blankets for cold nights! Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, hot pot lunch and free afternoon tea. Very good massage and lovely pool with views.

Unfortunately the room remained cold despite the heater. So we got into bed with the electric blankets!

Ants Bed.

The weather was really good.

Location - The view is overrated as all the roads and constructions are in plain sight with tons of vehicle noise. Room - Terrible, we came back to our room full of ants and ant eggs that seemed to fall from the roof. To make it worse the room had been made up by the housekeeping. We got a swap of a new room but it was full of flies in the room itself and we had to use the mosquito swatter to eradicate the pests before we were able to fall asleep. Service - We need to call for the buggy service each time we need to leave our room for meals or to go for the site seeing as the room is an extended part of the resort. Each time we called for the service, we were told to wait outside the room (full of flies around), at times we waited for close to an hour. Crew - Best Crew award goes to the mosquito swatter, without it, we wouldn't be able to sleep in peace. The rest of the crew are basically just VERY concerned about whether we purchased the tickets for the attractions or have booked the transport to the city. They earn the extra from the high priced booking they done for us.

Its a beautiful series of quaint comfortable bungalows with balconies that overlook the valley at about cloud level. Wonderful pool.. wonderful staff

Cozy bungalow with perfect view

Visit Sapa during Septeamber, we booked 1 deluxe and got free upgrade to bungalow mountain view, stayed 1 nights. The weather was so nice with low temperatures and clouds. Breakfast with many choices and delicious, the restaurant is quiet small by warmly. The staffs are very friendly and super. Buggy is quickly. Room view is very nice.

Breakfast was great, nice setting and views, as with everywhere in Sapa, were stunning. Beds were comfy and everywhere clean, just service was very much lacking.

The hotel service just doesnt live up to the price charged. We waited an hour for food in the restaurant one night when there were only people at two tables. Of the 3 meals we ordered 2 were cold even after the wait. Buggies to room often took a long time to arrive. Staff were lovely, but management really needs to step up and train properly to the standard that is being charged for.

Away from the noise of the town, with stunning views of the valley and Fansipan.

The hotel is situated about 20 minutes easy walk out of the centre of Sapa, close to a lot of the Muong Hoa valley hiking paths (not to be confused with the Ville de Mont resort, which seems to be the same owners but a different price range and further up the mountain side - some photos of this are included in the Jade Hill selection of photos). Very good breakfast buffet, with Vietnamese and Western options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cheaper rooms are in the main building, but detached villas are also available. Everything is stylishly designed and the rooms are very comfortable.

Despite the stylish design, there are various small issues with malfunctioning items - aircon not working sufficiently, drain smells disguised by powerful scented oils, and weird clanking noises coming from overhead pipes. Like all hotels in Sapa, this one is a little overpriced for what you get compared to other tourist centres in VN.
