Typically Ubud style house

I didn't like the fact there was no airconditioning, though that was our fault for not checking the ad properly. The room could use some additional curtains, as its not so dark in the room once the sun is out. The WiFi in the room we had was very poor. Basically not working most of the times which meant I had to go sit in the courtyard to book the hotel for my next destination. On other places the WiFi seemed better.

The whole property is amazing and located right inside the art market. Really nice staff, very friendly. Breakfast delicious

The gardens and buildings were pretty.

The pool was green, the bathroom drain was blocked and the water filled up the shower, the room stuck of mould, we had no power.

Location near market and main streets, breakfast, building and general vibe. I've stayed here multiple times since 2011 and it's always great.

Very beautiful and peaceful stay.

Loved the outside of the place, beautiful architecture and lovely pool. The breakfast was good too. Very peaceful and beautiful place to stay.With good spa facilities.

Our bathroom was dirty, the shower did not work and the sink was blocked. Thankfully the staff helped. Our key was stuck in the door the whole week. They said they will fix it but never did. Luckily Bali is safe. Also the room was moldy. But I guess for the cheap price we can't complain too much.

Extremely disappointing.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Very disappointed in our stay at Sanias House. The room was dirty and the walls had mold. The shower did not work, and it lacked real windows (only had bug screen). The doors lock was broken so it was unable to be locked throughout the night. When we requested a room change, they tried to charge us an extra 400,000IDR more for an upgrade. We cancelled our stay after one night and moved to a different hotel. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Pleasant

It was a pleasant stay with our 3 young children. We enjoyed breakfast and pool.

Location was excellent. Walkable to almost everywhere. Shopping was at the door step. Variety selection of breakfast offered. The place gave an excellent Balinese vibe. Every building was intricately designed and decorated. Nice pool. Staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry service was prompt.

Cleanliness. Cobwebs on ceilings both room and toilet. Dusty floor when we checked in. Floor mats were covered with dust. Toilet floor was not cleaned properly. Toilet was old as a result of age.

Disappointing

Pretty gross, do not recommend

There wasnt much to like. They had a smart TV so could stream films. Also had a fridge and a kettle so could make cups of tea/coffee

The building and decor in the photos looks cool but the place was dirty, sheets stained, the bathroom toilet and sink smelt so bad it stank the whole room out. At one point the water in the sink came through brown. There was so many ants in the room I was bitten so badly in my sleep. There was a weird vibe throughout, felt a little creepy. My room was up 3 flights of dingy staircase. Staff were not at all friendly. Didnt even dare eat the free breakfast provided. Booked and paid for 3 nights and left after 2. Super central if you like that but was so so noisy. Do not recommend, far better places to stay in Ubud in this price range. Also sold as with free massage which was not provided.
