Bad choice

Close to Bikini Beach, good service from house keeper.

Ignorant and arrogant reception 'manager', no support from 'head' office. Full speed construction going on in their own facility, in front of your balcony, everything is covered with dust. We have booked a big, family room with terrace, highest rate in this guest house, and we were not able to use it at all. After understanding conditions we have requested the refund but it was rejected. We were offered a small room with tiny window instead. Bad choice unfortunately. Avoid, there are better places in Ghuli.

Nice but needs some improvements

Overall it was nice, but it wasnt the best experience, especially comparing with the accomodation that we had in Fulidhoo. So Im not comparing with resort, I know it is a local island and they try to do their best. They helped us booking speedboats and printing our tickets. We had water, tea, coffee in the room. We had hot water. We also had a nice trip with them.

They didnt let us know the building is still in construction. So starting from the morning we could only hear drills. They are pretty understaffed. The bathroom didnt contain soap, I would advise providing it. We had our cosmetics so that is why we didnt ask. But it had shampoo and shower gel which is good. The breakfast was the same everyday and pretty basic. We were told we dont have meals options for lunch and dinner, but then we saw people eating at their place. They also advertise that they have a restaurant. We had our meals in other restaurant and it was very tasty. Gulhi is not at its best during this time. They are extanding the island, everything is a site. I think in maybe one year from now the place will be better if they finish the construction and pay attention to the details.

Very close to bikini beach, they provide snorkeling masks and drinking water, coffee and tea.

Dark room with only small window, all day noise because of hotel renovations, no buffet breakfast, no tv channals at all, no outdoor space for sitting and spending time.

Best Hotel stay Ever.

Top hospitality service provided. Mr. Hassan and his assistant doing remarkable job for his guests who decided to stay at Sandy Heaven. Continental Breakfast is very tasty. Location is very good with Nice Bikini beach. Local peoples are very helpful. Food resturents and super markets are available in foot distance. All the room interior is the same as mentioned in photos. I wish to come back again this property.

Everythis was perfect. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi service have bit trouble on second floor. As per owner they are working on it to resolve the issue.

Construction going on in the hotel

The main highlight was the breakfast (which was served and ran by another place called Fulhoi restaurant and dining with a lovely waiter, who was very kind). The hotel is close to the bikini beach and shops.

Unfortunately, this was not a great place to stay at due to the construction going on in the hotel right above our heads. They are in the middle of making an extra floor and they worked all through the night. We didn't find this fair from the hotel to even be running the hotel while in the middle of construction. When we asked what time they will finish drilling, they told us at 8pm they will stop. We'll they didn't stop until after midnight and then they were still working until 2am. So we really didn't get much sleep. I understand they are trying to run a business and want to keep things going, but it's not fair to people who are looking forward to a relaxing holiday and have to listen to drilling and inhale cement fumes, even though the price is cheap its not worth it at the moment. Otherwise this place would be such a lovely place to stay at. The staff are also friendly.

Cosy apartment betwen the beach and the pier. Comfortable stay!

Room was very well kept and clean. I like the decor and colour - made it very welcoming. Staff was very helpful when you needed anything. Breakfast as ok but the same thing every day. Was close to the main areas of the island.

Breakfast could do with more variety and more quickly prepared. This is quite a common thing in the local islands where they start preparing for breakfast when they see you. So expect 15+ mins for something as simple as egg and toast.

Almost evereything was perfect! Very nice stay.

Just rusted shower panel and low water pressure. Maybe add more movies od ssd disk conected to the TV. (In more languages). Maybe add fridge.

Truly a little piece of Heaven

This room far exceeded our expectations. Super clean, comfy, and with a private balcony. Free coffee and tea, great breakfast in the morning. Exceptional staff who helped us plan a cheap and AMAZING snorkeling excursion. This is not only the best place for sleeping but also the best place to book your excursions from the island. Favorite place we stayed on all the islands in the Maldives.
