Very good option for Railey

The connection with nature everywhere in the resort, the quiet, the beach, the delicious shakes, the excellent position

The usual douchebags occupying deckchairs with their towel all day round, so they can use them for a few hours whenever they want. Also, the water gear rental service by the hotel claimed "open all day" but it was always closed, so we had to search for another rental and pay more.

Exceptional

What can i say, i keep coming back to this place in railay, it is at a perfect location just on the railay west beach. The hotel offers alot of amenities including pools just close to the beach, perfect beach access for amazing sunsets. The room is super cosy, CLEAN, and they even gave me an upgrade, the staff are really friendly (everyone: from the reception, to the service staff - all the time greeted with smile and very kind and helpful. The prices were off course a bit high due to the christmas/ new year season - but the island is pretty small and this place is worth to spend for family/ flash packers/ solo travellers. Beware of your monkey friends if you have a balcony ;)

Disappointing

Please take my advice and stay well clear of this hotel

Not to much need a complete overhaul

The room was far to old !! Toilet was impossible to flush shower was last updated in the seventies the sink has a hole in it !!! Breakfast was the worst Ive had since I started my trip in Thailand and this stay was by far the most expensive!!!

Perfect location, not crowded

We werent aware that our rooms were facing east to the shallow mangrove lagoon. The main beach ist opposite (same resort) with the perfect sunset

Lovely location, dark rooms

Breakfast is good but gets repetitive and egg line up can be very long. The big pool is okay but quite small for the number of guests. The beach mat, beach bag and umbrellas were helpful. The bed is very comfortable. Access to the beach and walking street is good.

The rooms are VERY dark! Even with every light turned on at the evening it was difficult to read in my bed. Investing in more lighting or higher watt bulbs would be great. The balconies in the sunset wing superior rooms are far from private as it is on the main path towards the pool, restaurant and west beach. When you have a balcony there hardly anywhere comfortable to sit as there is only a long bench and no lounge chairs or anything. The room has two large windows which would be amazing but you basically need to keep the curtains closed the whole time unless you want the whole world to see you. Adding a second layer of sheet curtain could be very helpful. They should consider offering a water refilling station as the plastic waste is horrible with single use bottles. We refilled our bottle each morning at the breakfast buffet. Note that the resort does not sell alcohol but you can bring it on site. This was an inconvenience but not a deal breaker.

Do NOT recommend.

Unfortunately I didnt like anything about this resort. Fortunately we had only booked one night.

It is run down and dirty, and the location provided is inaccurate. The map shows that it is located at sunset beach, but the resort is huge and extends all the way to the other side of the island near the boat dock. Our room was right near the boat dock and we could hear the boat motors well into the night. I saw hairs on the phone, on the bathroom mirror, and the bathtub. The shower was dark and the water was cold. There was mold in the room near the air conditioner. There were mosquitoes and it was not possible to enjoy sitting on the front porch of the room because the air conditioner motor from the lobby was so loud. There were no bathroom towels in the rooms and it took me over an hour with a phone call and two trips to the front desk to get towels, which were finally given because I waited at the front desk for them. The food was not good. I dont recommend this place at all. The only bad place we stayed during our 10 day trip. Certainly not at all worth the money they are charging. I have never left such a negative review, but I feel strongly that you should not waste your money here.
