The city centre is a bit far. Wi-fi Internet conection was not very good.

The stay was enjoyable and memorable

The property was on the beach front.. Very nice location, the staff was very courteous, hospitable and helpful, the price was reasonable and the stay left a memorable picture in the brain

There are some mosquitoes and the bed was creaking all the time in the night which disturbed the sleep the creaking sound to be rectified

Clean, nice and comfy place, the beach is amazing and they really take care of their property! The family was so helpful and nice with us we really enjoyed our stay Thank you again for everything and everyone who is coming to hikka we recommend to stay there

One of the best places in Hikkaduwa. Right next to the beach. Close enough to all the places. Dillon and Sanooj take care of every little requirement or need. Very helpful with any questions you might have. Gave us a lot of good suggestions on what we should do with our time there. Managed transport and everything for us as well. Breakfast is out of the world. They gave us a bit more without is even asking for it. Felt like being with family.

Had a wonderful stay in Sailors Bay. You get a welcome drink for free and the family will offer always the best for you. Awesome view and nice big and clean rooms! recommended place 10/10!

Basically, everything is super good. The place is run by two fine gentlemen, always ready to help in any way, be it airport transfer or advice about local places. The beach is very beautiful and not crowded at all, there is a quiet place behind the rocks 100 m from the house for those not liking big waves. We were offered a free dinner as a long stay bonus, which was unexpected and super delicious surprise.

Mosquitoes might be a problem (although they did not bother us for the first couple of days, end of March), so take some kind of repellents with you. There was an anti-mosquito plug device at the facility.

great, quiet place

If you are planning to stay in Hikkiduwa you must consider this place! It is few kilometers away from the busy town and you can definitely relax here and take slow daily walks on the beach to the main town! Place is super clean, breakfast is delicious and owners are just lovely :) Would definitely stay again!
