Not good for solo travellers, or for workation. Ok for families and those with pets.

1. Friendly staff 2. Good location, 10 minutes from top tourist locations in Mysore. Also within 2 hours from three main wildlife sanctuaries nearby 3. Large spacious rooms 4. Pet friendly 5. Clean rooms

1. Wifi does not work (very patchy) 2. Room height is low. I hit my hand in the fan twice, and I am just 5 ft 10'' 3. Food is below average 4. Room is not soundproof. Windows have mosquito net, but don't close fully to block outside noise. 5. Food is below average (if you choose to stay, find food outside. Dominos/KFC are at walking distance)

Superb

100% recommend staying at Safari Quest when in Mysore

The staff at Safari Quest were as wonderful as the property itself. I arrived very early in the morning by bus and the Security guard very kindly ushered me into the hotel, Shankar at reception offered me a quiet room to sleep until my room was ready, Amarnath was working at the cafe during breakfast and had a very kind and polite demeanor Pradeep is in charge of outdoor/nature activities and allowed me to come with him on a snake rescue. Hes very passionate about conservation. Sneha and Jayant the owners were also very warm and welcoming. The property and decor are charming and very family-friendly with a library of books and a games room. We also got a complimentary little plate of treats for the kids. They have executed the Safari theme beautifully - homely, handmade, tasteful, and high quality. The food at breakfast and dinner was wholesome and well done. Nothing fancy but satisfying. They also don't give you plastic bottles of water in the room but have refillable glass bottles which is great! The bottom line is that I would 100% recommend staying at Safari Quest when in Mysore.

Spacious room, good restaurant on site, helpful staff.

Noisy. The room didn't have windows or shutters (only mosquito nets) so lots of noise including from the kitchen and neighbouring rooms with young children, which was disturbing late in the evening and early in the morning.

Clean and spacious rooms. Would definitely recommend for a stayover in Mysuru.

Rooms are clean and spacious and are based on Jungle theme. Every room is named after an animal found in the nearby Forest Reserves. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Airport and yet not too far from the city centre. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by greenery. There is ample parking on the road as well as in the basement. The breakfast spread was pretty good for the price that I paid. Do try their Kiwi mocktail (ordered separately in the evening). Probably the best I have ever had.

Service during evening snacks was slow. Ground floor rooms lack privacy.

A Bad decision & a big Turn off for the trip

The hotel safari quest is pretentious to be upmarket, classy & high end . But it is NOT. Customer service is zero. Value for money is negative especially when I paid Rs 9000 for 1 night, that too late check in. There would be expectation associated hotels when you pay higher price in terms of luxury, faculties & customer service. None are present here. Don't get fooled by photos & reviews which I had also seen. This hotel lacks intention & ability to serve customers. I made a mistake by choosing this hotel by paying a bomb in expectation of service. Please do not choose this hotel for your stay if you are seeking comfort, service & luxury. It is in the farthest corner from being a luxury. It pretends to be one. You have much better places to stay in better neighborhood. Conclusion A Below par bed & breakfast in terms of facilities Below average offerings against the tariff It is ideal for a bed & breakfast worth Rs 2000 per night, & definitely not a Rs 9000 odd for a night. That's a Christmas gift given by us to the hotel in 2023 Bad guest handling Amateur but arrogant in service attitude A Bad decision. A big Turn off

A budget hotel with a star hotel pricing. Why?

The appeal of the hotel when you enter is not great. Basement parking is there, but was asked by guard to keep the car outside. Rooms are big and are clean, but definitely not worth the 5K price I paid. Staff is humble and the breakfast, although limited, if good. Will I go back there - NO
