The greatest owner. Offered bicycle, picked me up a few times, and told about sights and the place for eating. In total, it's a very good place for its cost Thanks for the great owner!!

I looked like sheets weren't so fresh. There were some animals in the bathroom.

Bike available for rent at low cost to tour the temples which are only a short ride away. Owner was very helpful. Owner has a tuk tuk to visit the temples some distance away at reasonable cost, if required. As always, check and agree on the price beforehand. This is more a guesthouse than a hotel, so you are sharing the accommodation and experience of the property owner. If luxury and comfort is what you're after, then you'll need to book into a much more expensive accommodation.

The property is some distance away from the town centre. Appears to be an issue with the damp course proofing of the building, although this is not really a major concern once the fan is turned on for air circulation. Being in the tropics, there are insects and mosquitos. But this is the same everywhere - unless you book into a much more expensive accommodation. So come prepared with insect repellant, and use the mosquito net if one is provided.

The owner is really friendly and we did a really nice tuktuk tour around all the ancient sites, which i would definetly recommend!! The room was good but a bit too hot. Bathroom could need some cleaning but overall okay.

The host is a friendly person always available to help you with anything you might need. The property is located in a very quiet area not far from the city that is easily accesible by bicycle that you can rent on site.

Budget stay

Host super nice, communication in English sufficient for information but more is difficult. Drop off for free. If not it's kinda far from train/bus station. (700-1000 rupees). Bike rental 800 rupees/day, but I could have it for 24h. Overall ok Budget stay for one night. Bed sheet seemed clean. Warm water works.

Room very small, no garbage in neither room nor bathroom. Bathroom kinda dirty and broken with frog living there :D (but expected for the price). Main issue for me was to be so exposed, since the door was right next to living room with tv on and also window to the terrace with brooming in front of it in the morning. There's a mosquito net over bed but not in windows, so they were in room and bathroom. No blanket (I always carry my own super thin cotton bed sheet).

The only good thing that it had was the reliability of the place, which was close to everything, but it was not a suitable place at all. There was a public toilet, but it was far from the rooms. Inside the bathroom, there were lizards and frogs, and the door of the room did not lock, and it was not a safe place.

I had such a nice time here visiting the cute places around Anuradhapura and Mahintala, the owner of this place is amaz

I loved the cozy vibes of this place its very quite and away from the big city, the lake is a 3 minute walk and super nice for sunset. The room is nice and feels like you are really at home. The owner of amazing, super helpful and very kind.
