Relaxing and fin family vacation.
The facilities were very nice -beautiful location, great pools and beach.
Marketing that reservations are not needed is very misleading. It was almost impossible to get into non-buffet restaurants. If we had known this ahead of time, we would have signed up as a diamond member to get the preferential treatment needed to eat where we wanted to. It was ridiculous that families would need to stand in long lines trying to get into their dining choices by 5:30-6:00. Luckily, the buffets were very nice.

I would not recommend this resort unless you get diamond club and dont expect service.
The pool and beach were well maintained. You gave to get up early to save chairs. One of our two rooms was clean and comfortable. The hibachi and Brazilian restaurants were decent and staff at those two restaurants were friendly.
We have stayed at a few all inclusive hotels and this was not a four star resort. Just a few examples of why we were not satisfied. We made the mistake of not getting diamond club, which we gave in the past. Our checkin process took about 3 hours and one of our rooms was not clean and the mattresses on the pull out couches were disgusting. We made them replace both of them, once I finally got someone to look at it. There was a broken mirror with glass hanging off. They said it would be fixed the next day. It never was. The staff hung up on me twice when I tried to get someone to come and look at the room. I had to walk back to the main desk twice, not a quick walk, to get someone. I learned that if we needed to talk to someone, we had to walk to the lobby. The concierge and front desk just hang up if you ask them a question. The staff does not speak English well at all, our orders for drinks and food were mixed up often. This is particularly scary, as my daughter has Celiacs and we even had a note from the resort that she presented at meals. Rosie was the only person who helped us. She got the room cleaned, and offered to get us reservations for the week and offered hydrotherapy because of the condition of our room. Thankfully, because the wait without that service (or diamond club) was hours or they couldnt accommodate people, a common complaint we heard from many. Overall, the staff was rude, lazy and very dismissive. All week we would see groups of staff standing around talking to each other, but not helping guests. They told us they would get us drinks at dinner, pick up our luggage, set up airport shuttle, bring us towels (after the room was not serviced for two days) and if I didnt go to the front concierge desk 2-3 times for each, they would not happen.

Not worthy for the price
The location and infrastructure was great, the room that we had was old but well maintained. The room service was also good and housekeeping was doing great job. I wrote a message in booking.com informing that we were traveling for our honeymoon but we didnt get any answer about it.
We didn't like that reception gave us a room next to families, we couldn't sleep all the week, was very loud every morning and night. The service in the hotel, breakfast, restaurants, bars in the beach and inside the hotel were very bad, they are used to only come to you if you give them money, we paid all inclusive and still they want more from us. The food was not good in almost all the restaurants, we were in the restaurant Zen, that's not Japanese food. Also in the Italian restaurant Grazie, the food was not good and the time to wait for the food was too long. The same in the steak house, the chef doesn't know how to cook medium rare, we were expecting much more for a Marriott hotel, that's why we booked with you. We are very unsatisfied with the whole experience there. Also, the reception and guest services doesn't help when is needed, I wrote to the hotel because I forgot a pair of sport shoes and they gave me a telephone number, we live in germany we can't not call there, I answered that we need an email to communicate or another solution but I don't have any answer until now.

Superb
We had a fabulous time, I would absolutely recommend this resort.
There is really nothing negative I can say. The property is beautiful and very well kept. The staff is proactively helpful. The food was excellent. Highly recommend!
This is a very minor thing, but if you like running, your only option is running on the beach or on the treadmill. Getting out of the resort and running in the surrounding areas seemed sketchy.

No go for families with little kids: Mold, Dirt, Unsanitary Conditions
The hotel's staff is trying their best, but lacks training and you can tell the hotel is poorly managed. Food in the main restaurant has plenty of options, and the hotel organizes concerts and shows every evening. The location is good, as the beach is clean with a few seaweeds, and the water is warm and nice.
The hotel needs serious renovation and repairs, and in its current state it's not a good place for kids: 1. Rooms are run down, with mildew, mold, and rust in the bathroom's shower and around vanities, the rust in the bathtub, furniture corners are chipped, etc. Mold and dirt in pools can be dangerous for small kids -- we had to change rooms and met two other couples with 6m and 18m kids who had similar experiences. After multiple complaints, they were moved to another cleaner room with no smell, mildew, and better ventilation. 2. The halls and staircases have noticeable damages (corners, lights, walls). The hotel is old and requires serious repairs and renovation. 3. Food in most restaurants (Seaside, Zen) restaurants is awful -- tables are dirty, and you can see dust, crumbles, and fingerprints everywhere. The food is not fresh, as if leftovers were mixed from the last day. Fish and seafood were overcooked to the point of being black, or dry, and a lot of meals were too salty or spicy (adding salt and spices can help disguise bad or old tastes). Breakfast options are limited - only the main restaurant, although they claim 8 restaurants on their territory. The main restaurant appeared to be better, with fewer issues, but there were too many people and the staff could barely keep up. Wouldn't eat raw fish or seafood there, due to food safety concerns. Juices are from concentrate -- so not so healthy for kids.

Wasnt a great experience.
We had to wait for 20 mintues to do the check in and afterwards we went to explore the place and it felt like i was in the airport or shopping mall no style of architecture . Facilities are not for 5* , room was old and scratched walls and shower had uncovered pipes from the ceiling where it was leaking and paint kept coming off.Got a room with a pool where you never see the sun , not worth it So busy and so many people where u rarely find a place on the beach.All day long you get people trying to sell you staff where u cant relax at all. Service is really slow in the restaurants, most of the times tables was dirty and had to wave to the waiters so often to come and serve and clean the table, very unpleasant . Different varieties of Italian food but the taste is nowhere near that . They dont have many activities there people often organise themselves to play games . Glad i stayed 3 nights and not any longer Wont be back !
