We went for our sons birthday he enjoyed it and thats what made stay for me.

It was children friendly and the staff were very helpful and friendly

I didnt like the fact that though my booking.com advised of a 300USD credit per room on property services, I was only afforded a booklet to choose services for which I had to pay with a dollar amount off. Felt like it was false advertising or the language in email created an expectation that wasnt met.

It's not always the facility is some humans make the facility scores drop

The layout

The fact that when you make several complaints in one night that customer service respond.. some staff need training in customer care especially when your already spending a lot of .money. that they treat everyone the same. If you left something at the room and call 15 to 20 minutes what you left should be handed in so you get your stuff back. It's sad that this doesn't happen all the time.

Amazing beach and setting, generally great facilities. Most of the staff were extremely accommodating. Enjoyed the stay.

Check in and check out, both of which felt like an unnecessary ordeal. The process was inexplicably slow, and the staff running the desk were unhelpful. The bedding was damp on arrival and although the night porter brought fresh sheets, we were left to change them and make the bed ourselves.

Food poisoning, mold in the room, bad and unfriendly service

Pool was nice

wrong room upon check-in moldy room food poisoning resulting in ER visit no running water in room for one day no luggage help It started with the fact that upon check-in we had to change rooms twice. First assigned room was a two queen bed versus king bed which didn't leave any room for the crib for our baby. The second room had visible mold on the ceiling and around the ventilator shafts. I understand it is a moist environment on the island, however I am allergic to mold and I immediately reacted. Plus the smell was recognizable and it is a safety and health hazard for us but most of all for our baby. When we told the front desk they suggested to send housekeeping for a cleaning. The cleaning team also said to us 'they must have forgotten to paint over it'...all of which is less than what I would expect from a five star resort. After lugging around for a second time with all of our luggage as well as the crib for our baby it was already past 7PM, our baby's bed time and at that time we'd been without a room for 5 hours after arrival/check-in. The personnel we were with to look for an available room opened two occupied rooms which both felt unprofessional as well as rude to the other guests. On the second night I ate from the main buffet at the March restaurant and must have contracted food poisoning. I had fish and mussels from the buffet. We finished dinner at 6.30PM and I started violently throwing up and had terrible diarrhea for five hours. Around midnight I was so severely dehydrated that my husband went to the front desk for help. Unfortunately the doctor wasn't present overnight. The reception promised a private hospital as well as a cab that could take me. We asked a friend from a couple we were traveling with to accompany me as my husband needed to stay with the baby. I was on the floor from weakness and stomach pains while we waited for a full hour for a cab.

Never again.

Beach is nice, beautiful. Although there are other bays which are way more impressive. The gym and its activities were great.

Unfortunately too many things. From checking in, which was a horrible experience. This resorts should learn how to receive a guest. As it is an all inclusive, it seems you are checking in in a maximum security prison. Then, staff seems sad, probably working too much, how can they be friendly? The registration at every restaurant seems redundant, and the experience in all of them is not great. From furniture to food. Mediocre. I have to add that value for money is good, as the real 5 stars all inclusive resorts, you can pay double or even triple of what the Royalton costs.

Food was not on par with price range for this property Housekeeping shorted bath towels two nights consecutively. Left no coffee refills and the mini bar open. Room service food arrived cold A/C was not working well, room was uncomfortable
