My stay at The Burgess was good for 1 night. Donna, the hostess/server was really pleasant and responsive.

The hotel has contemporary decor which is beautiful. The room was clean, modern and not crowded.

The walls are thin. I could hear almost everything the guest next door were doing and all of the traffic from outside. Also, the plumbing in my room was bad; toilet would back up with just liquid waste and the water pressure in the sink was too low.

Our room was clean, stylish and spacious. The hotel is in good location, and we enjoyed the bar downstairs. Didnt get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but looks very classy and clean, with a fine dining appeal.

I would give a higher rating, however were dissatisfied in the way the room was separated from the bathroom by a barn-style slider that left a large of gap between the door and the wall, a privacy and acoustics challenge. Also my wife left behind her dress her aunt gifted to her, and was very special to her. Well she only realized when we unpacked 12 hours later that it was left behind. So she called the hotel, and they said nothing was turned or found. We understand it was her fault it was left behind, but on the hotel website it says they hold items for 90 days! It was definitely in our room #300 on the barn bathroom door. I dont know if they talked to the maids who did that room, or just looked in lost and found and brushed it off. I guess I just hoped for a little more effort. Otherwise, everything was great.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed and room. Bartender was great.

There was an inconvenience regarding my service dog, which was not allowed in the restaurant area. We sat at the bar instead.
