"I live in the UAE and usually fly to other places to take a break from work. I never thought I could find a peaceful getaway here in the UAE. But, this weekend, I stayed at a resort that really changed my mind. It was a great experience that helped me relax and feel refreshed. It was nice to find such a wonderful place so close to home."

BREACH OF SECURITY. Hotel gave another guest access to my room.

The hotel gave another guest access to my room, they walked in as my wife just came out the shower! I HAVE BEEN WAITING ON A promised refund from hotel room manager Ibrahim FOR MORE THAN 1 MONTH. I HAVE EMAILED AND NO ONE HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME.

Facilities are very good. The pool and kids club areas, children were so happy.

Check in process is so lengthy and so slow and so complicated. Long que, all IDs of the family has to be entered in the system with requirements of Arabic Translation not supported by the system. The food is fair can be much better. The restaurant always crowded and we have to wait till we find a table. The food distributed in too many area, I recommend the restaurant need rearrangement. Check in system need full refurbishment to be faster and easier. I found ant in my clothes, need attention.

Staff especially at the restaurants was very kind and service-minded. A lot of activities for kids. All inclusive worked very smoothly and the food was good.

The level of quality wasn't on the level of a 5 star hotel: the rooms had wear and tear, the water in the pool looked dirty, the a la carte restaurants were fully booked, the kids club was not very good - almost nothing to do and staff wasn't attentive for the kids, didn't seem safe. The hotel was very crowded and most of the other quests did not behave very well.

Disappointing Experience at Rixos Resort

My recent stay at Rixos Bab Albahar was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that the quality of service and accommodation had taken a nosedive. Despite the initial warm welcome from the receptionist, our experience quickly turned sour. We had booked a double bed room, yet we were placed in a king-bed room without any explanation or apology. Our attempts to rectify the situation were met with utter incompetence. We made nearly 20 calls to request a room change, but our calls went unanswered. When we finally managed to get through to the operator, we were instructed to come down to the reception to check for an available two-bedroom room. This was an unacceptable inconvenience, particularly given that one of us was handicapped and we were exhausted from our long journey. The communication breakdown didnt end there. The in-room telephone was practically useless for reaching hotel staff, and even attempts to contact the duty manager or the emergency line were futile as no one ever picked up. To add insult to injury, we were charged an exorbitant USD 1000 per night for our accommodations, justified by the inclusion of three meals. However, the reality was far from luxurious. The dining experience was marred by long queues to enter the restaurant, wait times at food stations, and a struggle to find an available table. The state of the room itself was a testament to the resort's decline. The furniture was old and filthy, a far cry from the standard expected at a reputable resort. As a repeat guest, the deterioration in service and facilities was glaringly evident. It appears that recent changes in management have led to a relentless pursuit of cost-cutting at the expense of quality service. While the individual staff members were pleasant and helpful, it was evident that they were understaffed given the high number of guests.

Ultra inclusive package concept is too good, location & outstanding hospitality with good interior. Staff are so friendly specially one staff named "Joya" public relationship officer, her service is super we are impressed to handle the guest, She arrange a birthday cake for special occation and little bit late checked in and she gave us a lunch tocken for two against the appology of hospitality service.

In previous, adult infinity pool was super located, but recently they plant some tree beside of pool that's why swimming pool lost the status of infinity pool.
