Perfect in every way

We loved everything! we got the premium suite and it has its own terrace with jacuzzi and the absolute best view to the river and the main temple..... the suite and all was a dream! the rooftop bar and restaurant is lovely and also has view to the palace. Location cannot be better! honestly one of the best rooms we've stayed in.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind and went out of their way to help accommodate us, especially notable as we ended up changing plans partway through our stay and needed to book additional rooms to split up our party/move rooms around last minute. They were extremely attentive and showed us how warm and hospitable Thailand can be!

While this didn't bother me, the showers do tend to have shifting water temperature without the dials being touched.

It was a bad decision to stay at Riva Arun.

The beds, they were kind of comfortable.

The lack of attention to the client, failed recommendations when repeatedly asked for them, tiny room that was misleading as per the superior room. It was overall the worst attention that Ive ever received in a hotel. Not worth it for anyone. Staff should be knowledgeable about their city and tourist recommendations. They should be able to point us in the right direction instead of responding I dont know. In addition, the lights would go out for a while at times without any reason, hot water in the shower was hard to come by as well.

Great hotel with fantastic staff.

Loved the fact that it was so close to the river, with stunning views of ancient temples. But if you want to go to Central World or Siam Paragon, its 20 minutes by taxi or TukTuk. Breakfast is excellent and cooked to order, so none of the usual cold eggs rubbish thats so common with many buffet breakfasts. Staff were brilliant. And I have to give a special mention to Pink who was on reception. You couldnt get anyone more camp, but also so friendly and helpful. Really lovely guy.

My only criticism was the shower was a bit finicky to get the right temperature.

Fantastic location, welcoming hotel

Fantastic location, great neighborhood, on the river so fresher air than center of town; walking distance to palaces, temples and older districts. Lovely young staff, always helpful. Spotless room, comfy beds. Very glad we booked. Lots of nice little coffee shops and restaurants right around the corner, as well as river piers and fascinating old flower/food market. Rooftop restaurant stunning for a cocktail at night.

Bathroom is tiny and handbasin in room but all v clean and convenient otherwise
