Simple and affordable tropical perfection.

Simple but comfortable bungalow on a picture perfect beach. The sea has no rocks and is a good depth for swimming. If you want a beach centered holiday, this is your location.

The setting was spectacular. Pristine postcard beach front property, personally I felt that the property is on the nicest beach in Koh Kood, with great food, clean rooms and extremely helpful staff.

The sunbeds lack cushions.

Winding down in paradise

Rim Lay is located on the beach of Koh Kood with the most sweet staff, a good restaurant and all that you would need to wind down.

The room is somewhat empty without a proper place to take out your contact lenses e.g. and the bed was a bit hard to my liking. But this is paradise who cares?

Remote beach location for reasonably priced quiet getaway

Clean rooms tidied every other day with fresh linens every 4th night. quiet remote location (for now) ideal for couples. Beachfront also tidied regularly. Good local food and beers at reasonable beach front prices. Good coffee and fresh coconuts. Lovely Thai family operation. Hope it doesnt get too busy as it was pretty perfect for our stay. As its pretty remote (not good WiFi connection) its set up as a place of escape and relax, not for remote working.

It was great - just a couple small notes for improvement. Cotton bedding would be much more comfortable (less sweaty than the synthetic microfibre). The smaller bungalows could do with seating inside the room. There could be more comfortable seats in the beach front (they often were taken up by other guests very quickly). The family can help with motorbike rental and transfer tickets. WiFi very week , only works in restaurant .

Perfect place on the beach, the food in the restaurant is also great and reasonable price The beach is so pristine, beautiful, quiet, crystal clear water we swam all the time

There's construction nearby, which in the future there's gonna be more people coming

The beach is amazing

They dont pick me near the pier, like all of the other resort, they dont have that huge detail, and they are a family just one person speak English and they just acept cash

Lovely, private paradise

Beautiful private beach, paradise in all its meaning. Clean and convenient bungalows, noise from the nearby constructions can not be heard in the room. Sea view bungalow is worth every penny. Quiet and calm. Lovely staff.

Bit secluded from other restaurants, need a scooter to get there if you want something else to eat. For us it was no problem, rented a scooter from the resort and got to for example Wooden Hut or Black Banana in ~10 minutes.

Amazing setting absolute paradise. The food is really good. I'd recommend the steamed sea bass. The bed is very comfortable apartment very clean

Might be a little quiet for some people, bike rental from the property is good value if you want to see more of the island. The shower could do with a little more power but works fine.
