Residence Jasmine is a great place with clean rooms and excellent safety. It offers a nice view and is run by a friendly family who are always helpful. The location is near the river, offering variou (Read More)s watersports and a boat transportation to Ventura beach. The resort has a pool and the staff are described as super friendly. However, there were some issues with the washroom and electricity that may need to be confirmed with the host before booking. The street entrance is also narrow for cars.

Really enjoyed it, would definitely recommend

We loved our stay at Residence Jasmine and were very well looked after for the duration. We had a great time kayaking over to Bentota beach, waterskiing (in the rain!) and relaxing by the pool. Breakfast was the only meal we had during our stay but was very good so have no doubt that other meals would be of a similar standard

Everything! Especially the location next to the river and the free use of the Canoe was great for giving a shortcut to Bentota beach.

Very kind people but room for improvement

The family was very nice, friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the pool looked great, the view is beautiful and they speak very good German :D

The bed was very hard (that might appeal to others but it was too hard for me), there was no trash bin in the room, it looked a bit untidy in the common areas.

So gozy! Wonderful family run hotel. We had 10 meters from bed to the pool. Best was the people, everything could arrange.

Brilliant thanks

What a stunning place. Run by a beautiful family. So relaxed. Rooms great spotless. Food perfect, family as you expect in Sri Lanka so pleasant and welcoming. Took the opportunity to have a river safari which was brilliant sammy water sports 10 out of 10. So knowledgeable. Overall accommodation 10 out of 10. We will be back hopefully when the moon is full and the fishing is good.

Lovely place, lovely people ,

Large room with confy bed. The staff could not be more helpful. We ate in one night and it was very tasty inseed.went on a vever afari, it was awesome. Thevpool was clean and a good size..

We only booked for 3 nights. Would have liked to stay longer.
