Poor

Kitchen is nice, but not worth the price for crappy amenities and unsafe premises

The location was convenient--right next to the toll road--and the folks at the front desk were super friendly and accommodating. It's nice having a kitchen, but the interiors are definitely circa 1999-2005. That said, the bed and pillows were super comfy. Blackout curtains did their dutyalways a must.

The gym is CRAP. A single treadmill, elliptical, and reclining bike. There's a bench and some freeweights5s, 10s, then right to 35 pounders and up. The gym itself is a 15x15 cube of a room--no air circulation. The pool/hot tub was overrun with creepy, meth-heady types, so I did not partake. I also didn't feel safe seeing as how the outside door to the building I was in didn't fully close without extra effort to pull it closed. As such, it was cracked open every time I came back to the place (meaning, anyone without a key could get into the building and have access to the room doors--not ideal seeing as how there were quite a few shady characters roaming about). Most importantly, my first night here, I could hear drunk 20-something bigots shouting homophobic "jokes" in the hallway (after blasting country music for 3 hours...ugh). As a queer solo traveler, I did not feel safe. I know this isn't the establishment's fault--more of a Texas thing--but worth noting if you're LGBTQ+.
