Fabulous location and feel-like home hotel - tea included :)

Fantastic hotel, I wish I had spent more nights there. Great location - very close to the metro, easy to reach from the station also by Uber. Library/ common area with tea available all the time is very inviting. I would stay again.

There is nothing I can think of. Everything was great. And there is even a terrace for guests! No lines at check in or check out, all needed utensils in the room. Reasonable price and a reasonable place.

Very excellwnt hotel.

Room was comfortable and compact. But all we need are there. They also have a library and a special infused water that available all day in the guest room. Its also near to conv store, mcd, and some restos.

The bottles were very small. So for 4 people to make ramens n drinks we need to back to the guest room twice

Perfect for a short trip

Central location, close to subway and train stations. Imperial Palace and gardens close by. Hotel rooms were a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. Our room came with a safe, fridge and seating area. We had issues with heating, staff came and checked it out and when it could not be fixed, they changed our rooms immediately. Staff very polite and ready to help with anything. Breakfast was a choice of Japanese or Western, with only one option of each. Lovely lounge area with free tea and herbal water that was made up fresh each day. Served cocktails from 7 - 10pm

Carpet was stained in bedroom. This is really nit picking

Very good

Really cool hotel, we liked staying there but had some difficulty to sleep due to the street noise

The lounge is awesome with excellent teas and water The staff is super nice and welcoming (we had a problem with a futon and it was replaced The day after without any problem) Th hotel is real nice and the smell is amazing, very clean Super close to the metro

The room is very loud (we had the video on the express way, the window systme is not isolted and we had the impression the window was open)

Terrible

Nothing. I have never been so dissatisfied with my stays in Kyoto. I have spent 160000 yen for 4nights for four people. Everything was so much worse than the photos. The room was much smaller than expected. Dont be misguided by the square footage because a lot of it has been wasted in that weird bathroom two steel door system. The rooms are much smaller in fact. Be aware that there is NO SHARED KITCHEN. They removed it in October and I did not receive any notice when I booked it in October and checked in early November. There were lots of negative reviews on those doors but I did not realize that it would be this bad. The doors are extremely heavy steel doors. It will shut itself up at any moment. The door stoppers were tiny and they could not bear the strength of these heavy doors and I got locked out multiple times just trying to go to bathrooms. If you are traveling in a group. Book elsewhere.

Hated every bit of my stay. The staff barely speak English and one of them were exceptionally rude. Others really tried hard in Japanese though.

Lovely relaxing hotel in a calm but well connected area

Very calm and beautiful hotel with friendly staff and plenty of amenities. Breakfast was lovely, though a little expensive. Relaxing area of Kyoto, right next to palace gardens and a direct line to Kyoto central.

Love the hotel, will stay again

We stayed at the room with separated bathroom, and I was a little worried about what it means and how it looks. But it wasnt a problem at all. Room and bathroom are behind the 3th door: from the hall you enter the door and behind it are doors to room and bathroom, so it wasnt any issue to go to the bathroom in pajamas. Really loved their pajamas btw
