(+) really appreciated the views from the room. (-) the stairs are bad for ppl with mobility issues

We took the double room with Mountain View and it was gorgeous! The room was also spacious and clean and the balcony was nice. The staff were nice, they amended our non-refundable booking for free, let us check out late, and did housekeeping / made the room when we requested. With this room we had no issues with footsteps/noise from other guests or staff.

The location was a bit far out. From west railay pier it was about a 12-15 min walk to the Last Bar where the stairs to the hotel begins. The location and the stairs were a bit of a pain - it was a bit of a hike to get back every time. The room we got also had the bathroom down a short flight of stairs and I think lacked ventilation so there was a bit of a musty smell. Also we did not find food options at the top - it felt a bit isolated but the privacy and quiet was also nice.

WiFi was actually very good, I stayed in the room nearest reception and it was good enough to have a few video calls! Room was clean and a good size. Beautiful views from the rooms.

Lots of bugs... Too many for my liking to be honest and also a cockroach. I found the place a bit creepy, I was staying there alone and you have to walk for quite a way down a dark path after the stairs to get to the rooms, there's no bar or restaurant, it was very empty. The stairs are steep but I didn't find them to be much of a problem, it's a pain if you forget something though!

Amazing views and comfortable bed.

Mosquitos got in no problem and also we had a rat in our room. We called reception to help us get it out and they took 45 mins to come but were thorough when they came.

Thoroughly enjoyed.

A steep set of stairs up to rhe hotel but worth the effort. We had a superior bungalow and it was lovely, nice bathroom too. Very quiet at the top too, away from the hustle and bustle.

Shower over the toilet not a proper wet room, pretty cheap inside and out. A massive hike up over 100 steps, there is a mechanism to cart luggage up but only found out at top

Disappointing

Location was good, comfy bed and good view of the mountains

I was very sure I booked a balcony room but did not get one - but this would be fault of booking.com not Railay hilltop . Which was a shame because I had been looking forward to that for ages. The room I got was so different from the photos and quite small. It was the most expensive hotel I stayed in in Thailand by far and I dont think worth it. Also if you stay here do NOT follow Google maps as it will take you to completely the wrong place with all your bags, instead you have to go to a reception near the treehouse restaurant along the beach. Also the room didnt have a kettle which was a shame

Sweet bungalow styled accomodation in a good location.

Loved the location of the property despite it being up a good few stairs. Its a wooden bungalow and very private. Has great views over the Railay Valley.

Only just that the whole room is completely on a slant in line with the hill its placed on which can throw you off a bit standing up etc. Not really too much of a problem though.

Very good

The view from the top was worth the stairs to get there. And loved the feeling of staying in the jungle.

No bar, or place to eat without climbing back down. Not a big deal but would make a big difference to the stay.

Good air con , bed is descent for Thailand , not rock hard , nice view.

The stairs are not as bad as people say. Was 160 stairs.total to get to our room , but once on top of the stairs there is a lots glass.from broken bottles in the trail so not safe with sandals and there is an abandoned bar and housing , so not that nice to get there . The things that bother us the most is the distance from the beach , since there is no way to shower and wash our feet after the beach we found it a bit far to go take a shower, the room is not bad is just one of the furthest hotel in town .
