Very good

Unbeatable location. Lots of amenities. Old / dirty interior.

Cant beat the location and the amenities at the resort. Plenty of pools. Excellent breakfast. Very accessible. And helpful staff.

The furniture in the room was very old and some of the chairs very stained. We paid $750 for one night villa, I would have expected better quality interior.

Good for family staycation

Not new, but surely good hotel for short family holidays. Nicely balanced menu - almost no curry! Clean and well-maintained beach. Night pool. Extrimely hospital receiptionists. As an individual traveller, I liked flexible meal plans and plenty of add-on options to the basic hotel rate.

A bit noisy in the room because of intertainment programs running every evening. Kids' animation team was boring.

Bad drinks service

Big room and good location on the beach.

The service of drinks in all bars was really bad. This was due to the process. Every time you order a drink whether on all inclusive or paying they have to print off a sheet for you to sign. Each bar has one staff member. This makes one drink take at least 3-5 mins. When there is 3-5 people in the queue it can take 15 to 20 mins to get a drink. This process includes water. They give you a band on all inclusive which is useless as you still have to follow the process. I felt really sorry for the staff on the bars. They need a better process or a lot more staff on each bar. Also the standard of drinks on all inclusive is poor. Eg marboro gin which is 15 AED a 1lt bottle is used instead of normal standard gin. The wine is from a box not bottle and the beer is some kind of rip off of carlsberg. With such cheap alcohol it's crazy how much process is involved to check you don't steal it.

Did not get the feel of 5 star accommodation. Not worth the stay.

Location.

Looks like they are understaffed. Had to wait 40 mins in checkout line and another 20 mins to get the car from valet. Should be better managed. Simply set up a dedicated counter for checkout during peak hours. Checkout takes 2 mins compared to checkin which takes much more time. Really unpleasant experience to wait so much. Limited options for food. One of the restaurants was closed on Sunday. Bathroom closet was jammed and housekeeping took 2 hours to come.
