Superb

A fantastic hotel for a night away

This is our second stay. We love the swim up bar, drinks and food options. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable and the staff are lovely.

The hold for incidentals for our room was held for over 2 x weeks when it should have been released within 48 hours.

Nice location but not the best experience this time

The staff were very helpful. The room layout and design was nice too.

The rooms were new but the bathroom drain was overflowing when you showered. The foam would come out of the drain next to the sink. The blow dryer was filthy which was replaced and the Aircon was not working the first night and kept going on and off throughout the night so that needed fixing too. Not what we expect from a Marriott Bonvoy experience / brand.

Disappointing

Not as glamorous or luxurious as the price tag says.

Nice pool, nice bfast buffet

Requests for a special occasion were only partially taken into consideration. We loved the pic on the pillow. We did NOT like being on seperate floors when we requested to be side by side rooms. This was incredibly dissapointing. I asked for early payment and early check in for my friend (I was paying for her) and she was told to put a credit card down. It was so embarrassing!!! Espically when she found out how much the rooms cost and that she might be liable for a bill. Incredibly poor guest handing here! I specifcally asked for her to NOT pay anything. The fact she was able to check in early was very appreciated and welcomed. But to take her credit card and swipe it for $1500??? That is beyond offensive when Ive said to only charge to me. Sort out your booking system. Especially when I specifically asked to Pay in advance for rooms so she didnt have an idea of the costs. This was incredibly embarrassing. For both of us. It was a nice stay and the pool was lovely. But it was NOT the luxurious stay I paid for. It did NOT have the luxurious facilities I wanted (the fridge is a joke!) and it just felt bog standard. Not lux at all.
