Superb

Munich gem.

It was our second stay at this wonderful hotel at New Year & it is still exceptional. The staff can't do enough and are so helpful and friendly. Being close to the transport system is very useful & within easy walking distance to all attractions in the area. The breakfasts are fabulous. I can't wait to be back there soon.

Exceptional

Nice hotel for a perfect short stay in Centre Munich

Centrally located. Right in front of Munich central station. Walkable distance to many attractions. Station accessible walking through the sub way The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was not facing the street, therefore no much disturbance.

There is lot of construction going around the hotel. We were driving down and google map was unable to locate the hotel. It was frustrating and we had to speak with reception and they had to guide us the route. Otherwise all went well

Exceptional

A beautiful hotel still retaining some old world elegance, which makes for a cozy and very comfortable stay. In addition, attached to the hotel is the restaurant Vinothek, which served magnificent meals and also provided a substantial wine list. The location was perfect for us, as it was only a short walk to Marienplatz and the Haupt Bahnfof. Breakfast in the delightful breakfast room is also certainly worth a mention. Overall we had a great stay and would always come back if we came back to Munich.

Wonderful value for the money. Tasty breakfast. Would stay here again gladly!

Room was nicely appointed, very clean, and with good quality furniture and finishes. The breakfast was excellent and the wait staff so nice and accommodating. The front desk staff were helpful, though not terribly warm in their reception. The servers more than made up for any gaps. The location in relationship to the city center is wonderful being about 250 meters from the winter ice skating rink and pedestrian only boulevard and shopping. For the price, this is an incredible value.

The side of the hotel our room resided was noisy with street cars going by at all hours. My parents' and brother's room were on a different side and much quieter. The lobby smelled like smoke from the outside and there is a lot of construction going on with a hotel that is abandoned across the street. The block on which it is located in that regard is unimpressive, but the proximity to the city center, shopping, and cultural institutions means that if the immediate surroundings were freshened up this would be a 10.

Service can be better

Location but due the closure of Munich central station (on the side to the hotel), its a little more inaccessible especially if you are not familiar with the B1 and Exit A / B. We were assigned a large room which was good but no working radiators unfortunately. Thankfully we were provided a portable heater. I hv stayed and recommended this hotel to many friends

As its was the Christmas holidays, technical services was bad. Both radiators were not working and we had to request for a portable heater.
