good location, train station 5-7 minutes walk. a beautiful building with apartments on other floors, which is actually nice because you can see how Italians live. Quite comfortable and lovely furnishings and design

very small bed, really tiny. with my height of 173, half of my legs from the shins were hanging in the air. uncomfortable pillows, it looks like they are made of foam rubber. breakfast is quite boring, everything seems to be there, but I cant say that everything looks appetizing

Brilliant Boutique Hotel!

We liked everything! The Principe Boutique Hotel exceeded our expectations and we were really pleased we made this choice and stayed for two nights. The location is close (5 mins walk) to Rome Termini Central train station, right next to the Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore. We didn't use the metro at all and found we could walk to all the attractions, including The Vatican, as long as you are fit and like to wander about. As our first time in Rome and our wedding anniversary, the hotel had provided us with a free bottle of red wine and a personalised note which was a very nice touch - thank you. From the outside, the building is impressive and once through a small courtyard door entrance and passed a staffed security booth there is a small lift to the hotel floor. Reception staff were very polite and spoke excellent English. There is also a small breakfast area which provided a very good range of bites both hot, cold and savoury, along with fruit juice, yoghurts and fresh tea/coffee. Our room was modern and comfortable, with a view out over Rome. Whilst the roads are busy, no street noise interrupted our sleep. No issues with safety and we passed many small cafe's, restaurants and shops that we wished we had time to visit when walking across the city. Rome was lovely and this boutique hotel a perfect place to stay enabling us to visit all we wanted to see. If we head back to Rome, we would definitely stay here again.

Great as starting point for Rome Sightseeing!

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Cleaning service was very fast and proper! Very clone to Termini and both Metro lines. Some very nice high class restaurants in walking distance.

The first two nights there was a very loud noise from water tubes out the neighbour room.

A clean modern boutique hotel within the building. Great rooms and facilities. The breakfast is great with a wide range. I would definitely use this place again
