Abusive service, never again

Location is very convenient, great SPA albeit we couldn't use the Turkish Bath

The hotel personnel was abusive with us. We booked this hotel as it had a great rooftop, which we planned to use to enjoy Istanbul by night. On NYE we popped up around 1:00AM to enjoy the skyline, but the hotel personnel pushed us out after a few minutes as they organised their NYE dinner there and they did not want us around despite us being customers. We noted we weren't disrupting anyone as the dinner was over and people were already leaving, but to not avail. They called security which escorted us out as if we were criminals. Security even thought we were not customers of the hotel at all, so they initially did not even allow us on the floor our room was on. This is unacceptable, I had never seen such horrible and abusive service. A few other things were totally ridiculous. We asked for a transfer from SAW to the hotel but they forgot to organise it. When we called from their airport to enquire, all they could do was telling us to take a Havabus. We had to buy a swim cap to use the pool. We of course had no objections to that and told the SPA personnel to bill it to our room. Turns out the hotel system was down, so we had to pay cash or card. By the time this happened, we were back in our room. They started calling us every 20 minutes (we timed it) to chase us for the money. We received three calls within 1 hour (we were showering and preparing for the evening so could not go down immediately). Were they concerned we would run away without paying this? Either way, you cannot treat guests like this in a 5 star hotel. By western standards, this is a good 4 star hotel (by infrastructure) with service you would not expect even at an Ibis. If I were you, I'd bring my money somewhere else.

Overall is good and convinient hotel by comparing ecneomical price

The location comparing the price is best, very near to Taqsim square (just 5 min walk) as well as to Istiklal street. It is just on 100 meter from Bus stop that is economical and convenient specially coming from/to airport and other parts of istanbul. Many streets, restaurants are very close and less noisy than Istiklal street. It is practically 3.5 to 4 star but overall is good to stay here. Breakfast is excellent with verity of buffet dishes and foods be offered. Rooms are reasonable as well as washroom compatible but again with all amenities and bathtub.

Air Conditioning system - both rooms became hotter even AC was on 10C. Actually feels that only AC fans were working. Every night i open partial windows for my both of rooms, the outside temperature was around 8C . This is common issue in this hotel as read the complaints of others guests. Rest is not any major issue

Superb

Overall it is great location and nice staff.

The location is only 200 m away , the view on the lounge and breakfast is amazing, the rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and professional. When we arrived to the lounge late the chef was kind enough to prepare a special dinner that was delicious for us which was so appreciated and professional.

We had to pay for parking! 250 LT per night and every time we leave the parking we pay extra. The building and lobby needs to be refinished and needs to look like a 5 stars rather than 4 or 3. The breakfast was ok but the chef made us fresh omelette which was nice.

Disappointing

Its getting difficult to find a very good hotel in this city( part of it due to the fake reviews obtained as above. Ver

The location is very nearby to Taxim and only few minutes walking down to Kabatas and Dolmabahce. The receptionist and entrance staff were very accommodating. Outside terrace is nice and has beautiful sea view.

This is hardly 5 star hotel; everything looks cheap and old, pillows are not comfortable. Breakfast is not tasty; lots of food but nothing really to pick. During our first day at the breakfast, a staff came to us to ask about our stay and somehow ended up opening TripAdvisor where this person left the review (excellent) in local language as if this was us giving the review. Then asked me to do the same I then realized and stopped her. The next morning she wouldnt even look our direction. Very disappointing and annoying, she literally used us when we didnt even had a chance to have our first breakfast in the hotel.

Perfect location

The location is next to the metro station and exactly next to the airport bus station which is perfect their breakfast is not bad the location not too loud like estiklal road hotels its a bit quieter

Its a bit old they beed to upgrade the furniture and i dont feel 5 star is fair i give it 4 starts
