Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Andrea, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is located in one of the best areas of Rome, since all locations of interest are nearby. Definitely recommend, would stay here again.

Superb

Amazing long weekend in Rome

Excellent location, smack in the middle of Via del Corso and within walking distance of the main sightseeing spots. The room was spotless clean and we found the staff to be very helpful.

The walls are very thin and we could hear everything which was going on in the next-door rooms. Also, the breakfast was very basic and did not like the sight of the scrambled eggs!

Excellent cosy hotel in superb location, great value with wonderful reception staff

The location is superb as you can easily walk to all the must-see tourist sights and it is in the Rome city area. On arrival by the efficient fast Train we took a taxi at the taxi rank to the hotel but departed via a private comfortable airport taxi organised by the hotel reception. There are restaurants and cafes all just walking distance away and we felt safe throughout our stay. The hotel is unusual as it is not visitble at street level and is accessible (from the quieter one way street) behind heavy big wooden door/gate (locked after hours). Take the small lift (or stairs) up to the hotel reception. The owner Plino and his nephews especially Andrea were so warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. They helped us book tickets to the Colesseum and the Vatican (do book early) or you do it y ourself on line. We had room 49 a corner room tucked behind the reception area and it was quiet, had a comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space, an armchair and writing desk and chair. The view was just to another nearby older style building but was good that the windows could be opened for fresh air and sunlight. Bathroom was compact but adequate and had a nice vanity and walk-in shower. The decor was modern and the room and bathroom were cleaned everyday with fresh towels supplied.

Breakfast definitely could improve with more variety of hot food and fruits to offer. There is a flight of stairs up as you come out of the lift to enter to the reception foyer. If you need help reception will help you carry your luggage.

Better than average room & great location.

Great location & a very nice room. Breakfast was good, based on other similar properties, but nothing extraordinary. They did a good job refurbishing this place.

We had two rooms, one with just a bed. The other smaller rooms were quite cramped. We cancelled another visit because we couldn't get the bigger room. Not inexpensive, but quite adequate for their excellent location.
