Hotel staff friendly and welcoming helpful too

My room was lovely cosy bed was comfortable too. Food was excellent staff an the waitresses were pleasant .Great atmosphere all round. Loved my stay at the parklands Hotel I will be back it was my home from home.

A pleasant Christmas holiday overnight stay with the family

Overall experience; comfy rooms and warm and welcoming staff. Good, expensive feeling decor, especially liked the bathroom. A good menu and very attentive staff in Michael's.

We really did not like that, as a guest, we had to walk through the restaurant to get to and spa/pool and then back again to the hotel. This felt disruptive and almost embarrassing. Also we were sat at the 'corridor' area of the restaurant for dinner and it was cold/drafty and felt disconnected from the rest of the restaurant.
