The Palihotel Westwood Village is a lovely hotel located in a quiet area of LA. The rooms are small but well-decorated. Noise from other rooms and corridors can be heard but doesn't disturb sleep. Th (Read More)e front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a safe neighborhood with restaurants within walking distance. There is no elevator, but the staff is willing to assist with luggage. Overall, the hotel is clean and comfortable with some minor improvements needed.

Superb

Enjoyed the place! Comfortable bed, great location, and lovely staff.

Friendly staff. Clean and chic. Great location. Comfortable bed. Fantastic shower. Free coffee

Fridge was unusable because it was full with beverages for purchase. Phone was not working properly. Breakfast was unpredictable, sometimes it was there and some mornings it wasnt.

It is a historic building so there is no lift.

The Palihotel was clean, quiet, personable, and convenient, I look forward to returning!

Clean place. Parking was easy. It was accessible to nearby food and entertainment. It was quiet at night. It felt homey yet I was in the middle of Westwood.

N/A - everything that was under the properties control was well done.

Poor

The concept of customer service seems to be missing or has not been trained to the staff.

Location was very convenient to where I had business. Walking distance.

I called in advance to ask how one would get from LAX to the Hotel. The front desk person said merely, "I don't know." When I asked if there were shuttles or anything else, she said I don't know. I asked if there was a concierge or some other staff member she could ask and she said she was the front desk person. Finally I asked for the name of any hotel nearby and I called that Hotel. The man who answered let me know the best method was to take a Taxi, Uber or Lyft. Simple enough answer, but the Pali Hotel front desk gal did not bother to even have a reply or say "I don't know, but let me ask someone." Is there no customer service anymore? The staff should be trained to answer what is probably a very common question or at least to be helpful in demeanor. Very disappointing! I won't go back there.
