Cozy hotel as an ideal starting point to discover San Francisco

The hotel is furnished with great attention to detail. You immediately feel at home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a lively area and is an ideal starting point to discover San Francisco. The train, bus, cable car and metro are all within walking distance. I would gladly come back and can only recommend it.

My room looked out onto a main street. This made it a bit noisier, but I was still able to sleep well. However, most of the rooms in the hotel face the other side. A delicious breakfast of coffee and pastries is offered. That was great. It would be great if water could be offered as well.

Delightful, wonderful. Palihotel is my go to hotel from now on

The location is amazing. This area is relatively safer than other areas Ive been to. Very convenient to go to everywhere. But I love the facilities and staff service especially. The decoration of the hotel is new, well thought, clean, delicate. I love everything about it. And the front desk and housekeeping is so responsive and professional.

nice hotel, but with limitations.

clean, newly renovated rooms, modern furniture and bath fixtures. clean room and bathroom. acceptable mattress. close to union square and restaurants. Pleasant and helpful staff. I expected it to be an older hotel similar to what I stayed before. This one pleasantly surprised.

Than being said, modern upgrade does not always translate into increased comfort. The bathroom is spacious but the only available surface is a tiny sink tucked into a niche with a *very* limited counter space and no bathroom hooks, etc. a bathroom shelving unit would be nice to have. The shower stall is large and cold, but the water pressure is low. In my room there were no chairs and no desk, although there is available space. the little garden style sofa did not do the job. the closet pole is positioned so high that a shorter person may not be able to use it. also, avoid connecting rooms as soundproofing is not existent and a neighbour making a 6am zoom call will keep you awake. and yes, the free croissants offered for breakfast are gone in about 30 min.
