Poor

Disappointing in comparison to when Versace was owner.

Location and pool.

We stay at the property every year over new year. Standard has definitely dropped since Versace brand left. Rooms dont even get vacuumed between cleans and the bathrooms barely get wiped. Housekeeping is no longer available 24/7 which isnt ideal.

Terrible service so i checked out and went straight to the Sheraton across the road.

The pool thats about it!

Service was terrible they followed me around all day and night wanting me to constantly pay each bill as the stay went buy terrible service i will never stay again. Checked out and went straight to the Sheraton across the road a real hotel! With real service and property facilities.

Pleasant

Mostly pleasant, missing attention to detail. Could get better for less.

The design of the building, which was inherited from the previous ownership. The servers and staff were all wonderful, and pleasant/friendly. Welcomed with a drink and treat, the charm kind of ended there. The live music in the lobby was really nice, and consistent.

There were a lot of missed details of which a 5-star hotel should have had in place. The pool bar is too small for the facility, the plastic cups serving non-alcoholic drinks looked like they were from KMart, issues with QR codes for self service (staff advising us to not use them because they're unreliable), chock full of young children; so many that staff are unable to maintain any sense of the 18+ section (picture 5 year olds cannonballing over you and your pina colada in the adults section). Some of the grounds hadn't been attended to (rust on the fountains). It left a lot to be desired in terms of luxury for the price tag.

Exceptional

The staff were very attentive and welcoming on arrival. Parking was included and so easy to access. The rooms were very clean and a great size. We had a garden view room which worked out perfect as the children spent time outside after the pool closed each evening. Breakfast was amazing! The entire hotel has such a wonderful grand feel to it.

Disgusting. We found mould on the curtains. Service was disgusting. I got food poisoning from the hotel. Contaminated with off seafood. We had to call an ambulance for my illness. I will never stay here again. Even after the event. Knowone helped me. I asked for fresh towels, knowone came to our service
