Service was excellent; team went above and beyond. Intimate boutique hotel in newly renovated historic bank building. Rooms were fantastic; high quality breakfast and room service meal. Cool jazz club on certain nights. Harpist playing a few times across my 5 night stay. Central to major sights in Istanbul.

Stylish accommodation in the heart of Istanbuls old town

Fantastic location in the old town, close to the palace, Hagia Sofia, and Blue Mosque. The New Mosque and Spice Bazaar are literally across the street. The building is super-stylish, and so are the rooms. Great Turkish breakfast, very attentive and helpful staff. We came late at night due to the delayed flight and they prepared sandwiches and juice for us! And ask at the reception for the rooftop great view from there!

Nothing major, but the room showed some signs of wear, small repairs in the bathroom were done using glue and in a bit amateurish way.

A great place to stay.

The property is very well located, a renovated old bank, it had a European feel. The staff were quite outstanding in terms of service, nothing was too much trouble. The lobby area while relatively small also houses a restaurant. The food was excellent, there is also a very atmospheric roof top bar, and a jazz club.

The only negative is that the rooms are quite small and there are not many larger rooms. Having large suitcases made it feel tight. Having said that I would stay there again.

Wonderful staff and hotel.

Location is right in the middle of the spice markets, walkable to all major attractions. Wonderful and friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel special. Special mention chartai and sumit. Great breakfasts with plenty of choice.

Would highly recommend - a little treasure, tucked away, but minutes from so much.

The staff, were fantastic. The hotel is cool and quirky (its been converted from an old bank) - a great bar downstairs, great breakfasts, fab location (about 10 minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar), lots of local restaurants and shops, and just a few minutes walk to the river. Rooms well appointed, with fridge, nice shower, comfortable bed etc.

The room is a little narrow - but fine. Enough storage space , but the bathroom area slightly cramped, despite a great shower room.
