Huge disappointment. Nothing like photos . Dark claustrophobic rooms

Claustrophobic rooms with poor ventilation and cant even open the window . Very hard beds that was very uncomfortable. It was a very dark room with lights flickering . I have asthma and felt very suffocated in the room as there was no ventilation and a stale smell that was lingering. It was our anniversary and this hotel was a huge disappointment so I had to leave within ten minutes . Normally a manager would have understood medical conditions and reasons why the room didnt suit however he was not there to even speak to and even when we went after a few days to get the refund he wasnt there . When I emailed him and politely asked him to cancel and refund he said I would still be penalised for the one night charge even though we couldnt stay there . I have been to many hotels and I know the managers have the discretion to make that choice . I said Id prefer to settle it privately and on email so I dont have to write a bad review and instead compliment the way the booking and situation was managed , to which he replied they dont work that way on good or bad reviews . Very strange thing to say as a manager considering he should be finding a solution and make it as pleasant as possible . I would not recommend the hotel or the rooms .

The hotel fell short of expectations in terms of quality; I would rate it a maximum of 3 stars.

Good location

The room was small and outdated, cleanliness fell short, and check-in was excessively long. Additionally, the room was cold with no extra blankets, and noise was a significant issue. Considering these factors, coupled with the high cost, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Superb

Very nice hotel in Milano

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location suited us perfectly well. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel has a nice charm. The gym was better than some other hotel gyms.

The rooms were quite cold and no irons available, only a steamer machine which is not easy to use.

Comfortable stay but expected the room to be more roomier.

Hotel is conveniently located in city centre. Staff at reception and cafe are friendly, helpful and prompt. Rooms are well appointed, relatively new furniture, very good bathroom, good amenities, comfortable mattress, quiet room. Very good spread of breakfast with a variety of options to choose from.

Was not very happy with the room planning. I had selected this category based on photos and description but the room allotted was of a different layout with a divider between the bed and study table. Room appeared very constricted with very less space to move around. could have been better planned as shown in the photos. No lounge chair to relax, only a study table with chair behind a partition.
