My best stay in Sri Lanka

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Nimal is a wonderful host and was tremendous help to me as i was not very well during my stay. He arranged a driver to take me to a doctor and pharmacy , the driver ensured that I understood everything and even made sure that I took my medicine before taking me to the bus station nd putting me on the correct bus to my next destination. I couldn't have received any better care and affection even from my own family. When I come back to Sri Lanka I will return to Nimals Home . He is a genuine and caring person with a real interest in you as a person and where you come from. The breakfast was perfect. It is people like Nimal that make Sri Lanka such a wonderful place to visit.

One of the best mattresses we had in Sri Lanka, plus both spacious bed- and bathroom with AC! Nimal is super friendly and was so kind to arrange a pickup from the bus station for us, for it is a bit out of the city centre, but we didn't mind that at all! He also arranged two solid bicycles for us to rent, to explore the city, which is really a recommendation to do! We would definitely return if we ever gonna be back in Anuradhapura!

Lovely host and clean room

Nimal is lovely and very helpful. He gave advice about what to do in the area. He booked a tuktuk for us to go to Mihintale and the drive was very friendly. The room is clean and the AC and WiFi work very well.

The location is a little bit out of the centre but with the tuktuk it is 5 minutes away.

Nice property, but I feel like I wasnt treated very well.

Bed was good, air con worked well, hot shower. Nimal was very kind and helpful.

Its out of town so you have to get a tuk tuk everywhere. The driver who Nimal sorted for me ripped me off so watch out for that.

I stayed at Nimal's place for 3 nights, but time just flew by! Located in a very convenient area close to the centre, Nimal's place it's the perfect base to start your explorations. On the first day, Nimal assisted me with laundry, and helped me to arrange a safari into the Wilpattu National Park. On the second day, I could rent a bike from his place. Nimal suggested me some places that I could visit in the area (like the Sri Maha Bodhi). I enjoyed a lot exploring Anuradhapura by bike, as well as riding in the jungle. If you need to work at night and fast speed Wi-fi, this is also a good place to go with. The room was also air-conditioned, which may help adapting and having restful nights if you are not used to the temperatures. Finally, Nimal just is just an exquisite human being, very smart, discrete, very kind and good listener, who takes great pleasure in welcoming people and will do everything in his possibility to make you feel like home. I enjoyed a lot having chats with him during my time there, and would recommend his place to anyone.

Nimal is one of the kindest and wisest man we have met. He helped us take care of everything and organized a different program every day for us. Every guide or driver he connected us with were professional, punctual, passionate about their jobs and very good English speaker. He himself also speaks very good English and we enjoyed talking to him every day. He also made us delicious dinner and breakfast. The room was super clean. Comfy beds. The ac was working perfectly, and the bed was completely covered with a mosquito net.

The bathroom was clean but had a lot of ants.

Great place with AC in Anhuradapura

Nimal was very friendly, the bed was comfy and the AC worked perfectly. The location was also great, near to lots of temples. Dont forget your insect repellent. Would recommend!
