The room was very nice. It was also quiet, clean, and the hosts are friendly. As well, it's close to a major highway and a frequently running TTC bus line.

Bad

Terrible, afraid of transferring bedbugs home, owner is refusing to remedy the situation

I noticed a bedbug in my room and promptly moved away to stay at another place. I've contacted the owner through booking.com about the problem right away, but they accused me of lying about when I left the apartment, lying about the bedbugs and other things when these were clearly not the case. They were extremely uncooperative and I am pretty sure they ignored the bedbug cleanup too. Avoid at all costs, they are far from professional. I haven't gotten money back for my unhygienic stay to this day.
