A Very enjoyable New Year break and celebration

We had a lovely New Year break staying at Corinthia which is a quality hotel in a lively area of the city, but within walking distance of many attractions. Also close to public transport. Hotel is comfortable and has a lovely relaxing ambiance. The New Year Dinner and celebrations were very good with high quality food, drinks and entertainment. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Over the New Year, breakfast organisation could have been better. On /Off control for Air Conditioning in room did not work, but was fixed. We were also told that temperature could not be regulated in each room so a standard temp was applied throughout all the rooms. Strange then that each room has an individual temperature control??

Very poor

The bed. The room was very good.

Some of the staff should learn how to speak to the customers. The AC did not work at all. It only had cold air coming out. My wife got a very bad cold after the stay. It is not ok.
