The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville is praised for its beautiful facility, massive lobby with stone fireplaces, and the annual national gingerbread house competition. Visitors enjoyed the Sunday bru (Read More)nch at the Blue Ridge restaurant and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The club level rooms and spa were also highly recommended. Some guests had issues with reservations but found the service at the hotel to be amazing. Overall, it is considered a must-visit destination for the holidays, with breathtaking scenery and a relaxing atmosphere.

Overall experience, considering the price, was average at best. Unlikely to return.

We enjoyed the overall setting of the hotel. We had a good dinner experience at Vue 1913. The staff was generally pleasant, with one exception at initial check-in. The location of the hotel is good for access to various places within Asheville.

We were not aware of the public traffic at the hotel for the holiday events, such as the gingerbread house competition; this alone could be considered poor planning on our part but is not the main issue. Getting into the hotel and parking/valet was frustrating at times due to traffic. Accessing our vehicle was inconvenient. In an absolute sense, the hotel common areas are nice and the hotel is in a good location. In a relative sense, considering the cost of the room, the accommodations were below our expectations when compared to similarly priced properties that we have stayed in. The room itself (King, Mountain View) was somewhat dank/musty and in need of updates. The room was inconvenient to get to with multiple elevators out of service, requiring us to wait for multiple elevator cycles on more than one occasion. The noise level in the room was sub-par, with constant noise from both the hallway and adjacent rooms. The room seemed dirty from decades of use without deep cleaning or updates (stains, gunk caked into grout, etc).

Nice place. Not worth $1500+ for two nights given what we dealt with.

Location, fireplaces, history, meals.

Smoke alarm turned into a disco-flashing contraption starting around 2 am the last night there. When I mentioned it upon checking out, the front desk guy asked if I called in the problem. I said, did you expect me to call you at 2 am, 4:30 am, & beyond? He admitted that wouldnt have worked, apologized, but made no concessions. For over $1500 spent on two nights, I wouldve expected more.

Wonderful and peaceful stay.

The property is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views. The hotel is decorated for Christmas and is very festive. The staff are personable and friendly. We had excellent service at breakfast and dinner. The rooms are so comfortable and cozy.

I had to leave, but I will be back again. :)

Very poor

The location and the history of the hotel.

The hotel was not clean, and the room was never cleaned. The staff was rude, and the billing was all messed up. I was charged twice by booking.com, and the hotel charged me full price also. I am still waiting for a refund.
