Reviewers Mention About Native Glasgow

The Native Glasgow is praised for its excellent staff, spacious and stylish one-bedroom apartments, central location near shops and restaurants, and well-equipped rooms with comfortable beds. Guests (Read More)appreciated the accommodation provided when arriving early and the cleanliness of the rooms. Some noted the lack of safes in the rooms but found this common in other hotels in Scotland. Overall, a great spot to stay in Glasgow with welcoming and accommodating reception staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!
Well equipped, spotlessly clean Brilliant staff
One tiny issue was that there was no mirror in the bedroom. I was able to use the hall mirror to do my hair as luckily the flex on my straighteners was long enough.

Passable
Great location, not so great comfort sadly
ROOM - Massive Windows, and decent size room. And the view was cute, coz the xmas fair and lights outside on the building across was magical. KITCHEN utensils - lots and great. It even has a dishwasher. SHOWER - was clean and a decent size. FRESH MILK provided - and lots of caffeinated Tea - take your own herbal tea though as they don't have any. LOCATION - literally next to everything! and a 6min walk or so from the Glasgow central train station. STAFF - were nice and friendly staff (i think the first night i got there, it was a Canadian guy who was up for some banter and good chat sorry i forget his name! <3 )
x3 things weren't so good tho that kinda left me feeling meh about my stay: Bed, Heating and WasherDryer BED - not comfortable at all. I asked for a double bed, but they give two single beds put together and held together by a zip. I had to roll a towel to put in between. One side of the mattress was really uncomfortable, it had a really bad dip. HEATING - even though the air heating/ air con - was switched off, the room was unbreathable. I had to sleep with the window open. Which sucked, because the location means you hear all the street commotion but worse; the loads of glass bottles being emptied x3 to x4 times in the middle of the night. WASHING MACHINE - seemed unkept, unkept detergent draws, the machines were dusty with lint, and very dirty washing machines inside with washing machine gunk on the inner rubber band. They have two washer dryers; that are steam dryers. Which is cool, but not convenient when you have no where to hang it as it'll still be damp. They kept saying the paper explain everything on how to use it, but guys it's terrible! Even for the most literate people. The staff at reception weren't even sure how or what to advise. Every staff i spoke to about the washerdryer, said they'd had complaints about the dryer. So how are you not doing anything about it? im so baffled. I was up between 12am to 9am - going back and forth my room and the 4th floor trying to make sure my clothes were dried okay. it took 6hours, to feel okay about the amount it dried. And even then i had to hang almost everything in the bathroom some how. Why 12am? well, i had spoken to another lady who was going in and out too and i asked her about her experience, she said she had been waiting 6hours to get her clothes washed - and by the time she had gotten round to it the dryer situation made no sense to her. She too struggled. My advice to you is, if its a lot of stuff there's a laundrette not too far from the Native.
