Local Govt. Authority should not take actions in haste. They spoiled our holidays.

Our booking was cancelled by the property as Local Govt. authority all of a sudden raided some properties in the region citing some licensing issues. Our money was promptly refunded by the hotel and were courteous enough to answer all my communications.

Local Govt. Authority who blocked the hotels to entertatin should have considered and informed or allowed to ask the hotels to communicate their guests regarding problems and cancellations well in advance. I was on my tour already and just 1 day earlier was informed by the hotel regarding cancellation. This was too inappropiate for the govt. authority as it was Diwali time and people were on holiday already on the move to reach their destination. Bad action by the local govt. authority. Spoiled our holidays. Tourist those going to this place must first of all ask the Collectorate office & then book the properties here. Or they may land in trouble.

Best thing was the food. Awesome south Indian food with a lot of options. All the staff were upto the mark, very supportive. Awesome view .

Not upto the mark professionals in managing the rooms. Not clean rooms. Duvet and pillows were not clean. Not properly arranged in rooms, like not enough cups, tea coffee, sugar packets. Felt it was a bit over expensive, while comparing other stays near the place. Wifi was lacking speed and most of the time it was working intermittently. Not much extra activities were provided. All activities were need to be paid and felt it was a bit expensive.

good food.

Absolutely no value for money. too expensive and no good amenities. tv doesnt work, geyser didnt work and the main lock was broken. the location says Ooty but is 10 kms away from Ooty and very uncomfortable roads to reach the place. the room allotted was not well maintained and hence very expensive for the experience.
