Disappointing

Upstanding (DSTV) accomdation

Value for money, lovely bedroom and bathroom.

Dead batteries in the DSTV remote and volume was low. It was recommended I stand up to change the channel as there were no spare batteries available. This was very disappointing. The place has hollow wooden flooring and it didn't feel like I had privacy, because I couldn't turn the volume up on the DSTV and I could hear footsteps and voices in the hallway and adjacent room.

Beautiful place

The Staff, Tyson and Virginia are lovely and very helpful, they made me feel very comfortable. Room and social areas were sooo beautiful and cozy that made my stay a real pleasure.

The location is dark and u cant walk alone to the main av., but Tyson was always available and willing to walk with me and make sure im safe.

It was an excellent experience!

The house plan is nice, with a little outdoor space just outside the rooms which allows one to take some fresh air while still inside the house. One can just open all the glass sliding doors and have the outside fresh air come in and still remain secure in the house!

There was nothing I didn't like really, but from my previous stay, I enjoyed the self-service and I expected it since I planned for a much longer stay next, the room I had did not have the self-service but I was made to believe it is part of the covid aftermath, hoping they manage to bring it back to all the rooms like it was before.

The rooms are exquisite. The well thought out room facilities: drinks cooler, safe, bar fridge, hair dryer and the view of the garden oasis from my room. The staff went out of their way to carry my bags etc. i couldnt recommend more

Overall a great experience with kind and helpful staff.

Wonderfully located in Melville, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, this brightly renovated place with in-house parking has it all!

A few minor hiccups didnt give it the full score for us: the main lightning in the room flickered so we left it turned off and one night we didnt have proper water so couldnt take a shower.
