Elegant spacious room hotel at great location

Lovely location with very clean room decent size and serving key coffee.

The public bath is not clean. There are many noisy guests. If the cleaner can check and do more regularly rubbish bin clean would be great

Great location, clean, reasonably priced.

Excellent location. Clean and nice rooms. Great breakfast buffet.

Beds were slightly hard as was the pillow. I was staying alone in one room and only got one pillow which makes it a bit difficult to prop up against the bed when watching tv or reading. An extra and softer pillow would make the stay much more comfortable.

Lovely hotel in Quioto - Sanjo area

Staff friendly, helpful and fluent in English. Beautiful garden, hall and restaurant. Well located. Convenience store just in front.

The spa / public bath area was crowded and not as beautiful as I imagined. Room wasnt marvelous. But was ok.

It is located in not so busy environment. Near the gym and convenient store.

There is no coin laundry. We accidentally left something after we checked out and nobody contacted us.

Everything was amazing! Friendly and heplfull staff, convinient (a little bit small) rooms, tasty tea and coffee in the room, quality hygiene supplies. Breakfast was excellent in the dining room with viewview of the designer garden, tasty local food and drinks, even apple vinegar for healthy. Convinient location, there is subway across the road and many small restaurants and cafes near the hotel

Nice hotel, but no sound proofing

Extremely friendly staff, nice hot pool downstairs. Clean rooms. Perfect location.

Absolutely no sound proofing. For two days, between 6-9pm I heard constant bumping, which I assume were just footsteps. You can hear the faucet turned on in the adjacent room. Single paned window don't block the heavy traffic noise. Room doors so thin every person walking by could be heard. Every penny was saved in constructing this building. Quite sad. Not for me.

Highly recommended

Convenient location, very close to subway station. Excellent breakfast.

Similar to other hotels in Japan, the staff answers questions exactly as asked, does not think outside the box to elaborate or offer suggestions or advice of what to do, what to see in the area. Perhaps, this is because we were speaking English, not Japanese. However, everyone is very nice and respectful.
