Stuffy, smelly, spider

Sheets were clean

Spider in my room, alerted staff and they gave me a new room (despite it being an internal room). Bathroom has no door or window, only glass partition. Smells in the room from the bathroom were almost unbearable. Dirty carpets, hadn't been vacuumed. Poor air circulation and stuffy.

This was not a pleasant stay and I would not want to come back

There was not towels in the room and the phones in the room did not work. This should not have happened. The room did not have a window.

Very good

Good things come in small packages!

Although a fairly small room (Micro) with an even smaller window, the smart TV was huge (maybe 55''?) and had all the popular apps and websites available! Nice shower too. Also, to be in the Wellington CBD with paid parking on site was very convenient.

I missed the parking garage entrance off Vivian St a couple of times and had to circle round the block again (& again) - totally my fault though - not Microtel!! LOL

Very good

Room size was nice, the block out curtains were amazing and bedding was comfortable.

Everyone says it, but it's true...the walls are super thin. I am a solid sleeper, so it wasn't terrible for me, but my husband struggled to sleep a bit. It wouldn't prevent me from staying there again, but it definitely affects the overall experience.

Good location for a good price

Good location. Close to the main streets but far enough away to have less noise. Room was spacious and the large windows were nice.

There is no sound proofing. Not the fault of the hotel entirely but our neighbours were awfully loud. The room also had some crusty left over food on the desk and the shower was a bit dirty

Disappointing

AC nightmare

I like how the room was designed. Comfortable bed, clean room and everything is tidy and organised.

My air conditioner did not function well. Despite my mate and I informing the front of house/receptionist in which he did check and was told that it will work 10 min and it was set in hot which wasnt as my mates room worked straight away. Still we wanted to give the benefit of doubt. We went out already to explore the city came back AC was still not working. I cant really open the windows given the design of the room. I ended up sleeping at my mates room as it was hot in my room and to add my one of us had to sleep on the floor.
