Our four-day stay at Mi Lugar Hotel was nothing short of a dream. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an aura of exclusivity and serenity. Being the only guests allowed us to relish the tranquility of the Maldives in its purest form. Danushka, the heart and soul of the hotel, made our stay truly exceptional. His genuine warmth and impeccable hospitality were unmatched. The rest of the staff mirrored his enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere that felt like home. The culinary experience was a delightful journey of flavors, thanks to the talented chef who treated us to new, mouthwatering dishes every day. Five days on this island are more then enough

Very beautiful, tranquil place with friendly stuff. Hussen was organising snorkling tour for us. The second day he went with us to the beach to show us the corals, one evening he took us to see the turtel laying eggs on the beach. I liked how the rooms were decorated, I liked the peace and beuty of the island. Long beach just for you, beutiful color of the sea.

I did not like the food. 10 days we were eating almoust the same food. I could not stand it anymore. Breakfast was the same every day. We asked for the local fruits, never got them. Evey morning we were gettin 3 thiny peaces of apple and 3 orange peaces. I do not get it! Cocos and bananas and papaya are growing all around, but we get the apples. Dinner was rice or nudles. The nudles were always over cooked. And if you ask for something, the answer is always: We do not have it on this island. I did not like that the listed equipment for the room and property is not what you get! No coffee in the room , just tea. No couch, no safety box. The place is called spa! BUT there is no spa! The island is very quiet, with few small shops and one, or two restaurants. I never went there, but I heard they have very few dishes. The shops are small. The women on the island are nicer and friendlier then the men.

Amazing place to relax. There are to small hotels with capacity of approx. 12 room all together on the island. You can feel almost alone on the island. The manager of hotel was nice guy, always very helpfull, he perfectly organized our trips for snorcheling with mantas or dolphins watching in the open ocean. The food was simply delicious and chef is very talented and nice guy. We had half-board, ie. breakfast and dinner, and it was sufficient for us. There were varieties of food consisting of fruit, rice, roti, fish (especially tuna), chicken or beef. Bikini beach is practically in front of the hotel but it is not allowed to walk in bikini within hotel (very natural) area or outside bikini beach. But bikini beach is beautiful and very long, almost one third of island.

The amount of food is just incredible. There is too much of everything, Although it becomes a bit boring, as the chef is cooking the same food all the time. But he's just working with what is available. And he's doing his best! The food was always very tasty and in a rainy day, we even got a cooking lesson, to learn how to make all the different curry meals. The whole team works perfectly, to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Special thanks to Danushka, the manager, Agit - the chef, Reyna the best waitress ever. She is such a lovely person! Always ready to help! Mazhut, the fisher man. With this crew you don't feel as a guest. You feel being their friend. It's emotional to leave. Definitely worth to visit. And yes, there is wifi in the rooms.

Mosquitos are quite annoying, but it's not the fault of the staff. Just be sure you have a repelent with you and bring repelent tablets and device to use in your room. The beach is unfortunatelly full of litter. Again, not the fault of the staff, but it would be great if staff would come and clean it every now and then. Because the rooms are situated in the forest, some wooden parts (roof of the shower) are falling apart. It's not making your stay any worse, but it feels that a touch up is necessary.

It was great experience!

The breakfast was good. We had the opportunity to be acqauainted with the traditional Maldivian meals which we had enjoyed. We do recommend to book fishing trips. The Chef of the Restaurant grilled the fish and all the guests might enjoy it at dinner. It was great to make trips by canoe around the islad. Coplimentary water to the room on dayly basis appreciated.

Tha variety of the meals at buffet always appreciated.
