The Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort offers connecting rooms and upgrades for Gold members, but some aspects could be improved. The pool is enjoyable, despite the cold water. The hotel is located in a qu (Read More)ieter area of Pattaya, with easy access to the beach. The staff are helpful and attentive. The rooms are clean but small, with some issues like a faulty TV. The internet is fast for streaming but has upload problems. The breakfast is decent, and the hotel is in a convenient location.

We had good trip and will definitely visit again, but next time book separate rooms for the family.

The family had a good trip. The kids enjoyed the pool area and access to the beach was convenient. We stayed on the 11th floor and had a partial view of the city, terminal 21 mall, pool area and the ocean.

I initially book for a family of 4 via booking.com and took a superior twin room to cater for 4 people. Unfortunately, this room had 2 single beds which definitely was not big enough to cater for my family and had to book an additional bed at an additional cost. Luckly I was able to book another room from the following day onwards. I also took the breakfast option, thinking that I clearly stated 4 people would be staying but once at the hotel it was only for 2 adults and 1 child, and I had to pay extra for the other. The lift times during peak hours had an extremely long wait.

Location is very good, walking distance to beach, Chinatown seafood, authentic Korean food and terminal 21. The swimming pool is very fun for the kids but the water was a bit too cold.

The room on one side of the property face neighbouring building compressors and was very noisy when it was running at full capacity. The swimming pool facing side room was much better. The swimming pool water was very cold due to winter up north according to the staff. Water should be heated a bit using the heat exchanger compressors.

Hotel is situated in a nice location close to everythink, shops restaurant and ect... Kids pool is interesting and adventure but cold...

Poll are in shadow and very cold...it needs a heating. Our suit was big and spacious but not cleand enough....hear was everywhere...
