A perfect stay for no more than three days.

Relaxed island, back to basics.

The staff were really lovely, helpful and friendly. Toning we asked was too much trouble and they all made a huge effort to remember guests, what their plans were etc. Some parts of the island are stunning and very picturesque. You can borrow kayaks and take them out to the sand bar, and also snorkel in front of the beach and see some great stuff.

Whilst the front of the island is pretty beautiful, the rest of the resort feels quite tired and in need of a revamp. We had quite a few ants in our room, as well as a lizard, the room didnt feel unclean but it needed some attention - the loo seat was broken, tiles chipped in the shower etc.

Absolutely perfect experience

Everything was absolutely perfect. Staff was exceptionally good, the rooms are big, comfortable, and clean. The view is amazing and looks exactly like in the pictures.. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help us in regards to changes to the booking due to flight delays.

The design of the villa is huge fail , waste of lot of space , imagine there is a huge room for only path top but there is no wardrobe for our clothes, we had to keep our bags on the floor with clothes in it , the floor is full of insects There is no store to buy from - room service ends at 11 pm with limited choices - no alcohol serving in the island , you have to bring your drinks from the city by the boat The boat cost 1000 pesos for round trips per person , they schedule 3 departures 4 arrivals with certain times but they never stick with it , they always give you squeezed time so you cant enjoy the city, only time to shop for what missing in the island, additionally the owner DOES NOT ACCEPT OTHER BOAT TO DROP YOU NOR PICKS YOU FROM THE ISLAND There no activity in the island except for kayak and snorkeling You are stuck with there tourist guide with limited packages and well overpriced Example : islands hup costs in the island 17,750 pesos as private trip or 3950 pesos/ person if there is a group In the city would cost 1200 pesos/person. TV channels: you are stuck with 3 , if you are lucky maybe 5 Bottom line, the owner is a thief, sheep, and stingy

A relaxing stay. Great views and tours.

Location, location, location. Much better than staying in town. Staff very helpful. Large comfortable bungalow by the beach. Fantastic views.

Hiking trail was closed, not maintained.

Superb

Excellent staff. Excellent food. Special thanks to "Jedd" for making our stay extra special Location is so amazing! We had some issues at check in, but they took care of it right away. We had fun in the pools, karaoke and kayak to the nearby beach for some private snorkeling. Some other reviews mention bad food, and we disagree strongly. We tried a lot of different food and everything was amazing. We usually asked for whatever the chef recommended that day.

The resort is huge, but a big part of it seems abandoned.

Bad

Demolish it all and start over again!

We stayed in room 106 and there are rats in the ceiling! To make matters worse is that there are no front desk staff at night and there are no service in the whole island. We tried calling for hours to ask for help with no help given. No one responded to us the whole night and was forced to stay awake with rats running around the room all night. It was a huge safety issue as well if we tried to come down as the room sits 99 steps above ground in the mountain with steep and slippery worn down stairs. It was pouring rain that night and we sat there helpless with no one to help us! The next morning they finally received my message for help and their solution was to send housekeeping to try to trap the rats. What kind of service is that! Gross, disgusting and if you get injured pray that God will help you at that moment because no one else would.
