Disappointing

Very Disappointed

It took a very long time to get a room I had reserved/requested. I have stayed before and this time the front desk had to check everything out with the manager who was not helpful. I wasn't able to get the room I wanted even though they weren't booked but had limited housecleaning. When I did get a room I found an old burger and fries takeout in the fridge. I had to carry my luggage down and even on the last floor while the staff just watched was not offered assistance. My reserved rate was not honored and I was charged more. Even after pointing that out they only lowered half of the overcharge.

A beautiful location to ring in the New Year, in Seattle!

I reserved this hotel to attend a concert at Climate Pledge Arena. We live locally, but wanted a fun night In Seattle. Only a 10 minute walk to Seattle Center. Felt safe. I loved having a kitchenette, so we could do a fun, pre-concert cocktail party with friends, and not worry about making a reservation at a restaurant. It was clean, spacious and quiet. We had a beautiful view of Puget Sound at sunset. Lovely furnishings. I would totally book this hotel again.

The parking is challenging. Valet only, and it can be difficult to find an empty spot in front of the hotel to drop off your luggage and car. Plan ahead. There were only 2 sets of dinner plates, bowls, cups and silverware. I will bring extra next time.

Very good

Enjoyed our stay generally!

We liked the historic charm of the place, it was nice! Staff were very friendly. We had a pretty quiet and comfortable stay. The room was also huge and the bed was very comfortable.

The heater and fridge are old and noisy. The hotel doesnt have a single kettle on site which was a pity.

Old style and cool. Huge room (we had a corner) Easy to get to from the freeway. Walking distance to Climate Pledge Arena. Several food options closeby.

Wish they had more valets to get cars at checkout time, but it was really ok.

There is no elevator here, keep in mind if you're mobility impaired.

Classic beauty and charm

Its beautiful with character and charm. We walked all over to the shops and it was near a concert I saw at Climate Pledge Arena.

The only issue I can anticipate for future stays is the lack of an elevator. We had a ground floor room this time so it wasnt an issue for my partner, who has MS. But if you need a ground floor room, Id recommend calling to ensure you get one.
