Mango House in Galle Fort offers spacious and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food and drinks. The location is convenient, close to restaurants and shops. Guests appreciate the (Read More) beautiful garden restaurant and the quiet atmosphere. The hotel provides excellent service and is a great place to relax and enjoy a getaway. The prices are reasonable and the homemade iced tea is recommended.

Beautiful property, easy walking access to fort area

Property is quite pretty. There are places to sit outside also in case you room is not ready or even after checkout if you want to wait, its a perfect place. The use of mango yellow gives a different vibe. The place also has a India feel since it has many old hindi movie posters and even the runners etc are from Rajasthan

I felt the breakfast quantity was less. We booked 2 rooms but during breakfast (traditional SL food) for 3 people, we got one bowl of daal and sambol. It was pretty less for 3 people and we ended up having the rotis and hoppers dry. We asked for more but they did not have any. Our room was towards the backside so the balcony overlooked the closed area but I got to see some other rooms of first floor. they had nice sunny view. Next time I would prefer to take room 5 or 6 if staying on first floor

Lovely quaint hotel in the centre of Galle. Beautiful courtyard bar area and lobby. Nice rooms. 3 minutes walk from all local attractions

Nice stay, very lovely staff, good for the price, but have brekkie elsewhere!

Great location and size of room (kindly received a free upgrade!). Comfy bed, and lovely view of the trees from the balcony.

Breakfast was OK we expected more considering this is a restaurant as well. The first course was very nice but the main felt like it had been sitting for ages and wasnt cooked fresh for us.

Really beautiful property with character. The location is fantastic and the staff was amazing. As we had to catch a very early train, they offered to serve breakfast earlier than their usual times. Also, our AC wasn't working properly, they changed our room right away and got it fixed. Very good service.

Sometimes we did not have hot water, but we didn't mind that much as it was hot outside as well.

Some improvements should be made.

The hotel itself is nice and clean. We got an upgrade to upper floor - which in fact was actually a downgrade. There was a whole in the roof and water was coming to the room. They put an additional rug for the water, but actually i would expect change of the room for this money. The breakfast was not good at all. All in all i would call it so-so

A beautiful hotel, decorated in a very picturesque manner. Rooms were comfortable and contained everything needed.

Just that when the key was removed from the power at night, you had to unlock the door in the dark.

Charming, comfortable and welcoming

A lovely oasis in the centre of Galle. Close to all facilities, really friendly & helpful staff and lovely food (breakfast, lunch and dinner all excellent). The place had real charm and was really comfortable.

A lovely place to stay right in the middle of the old town

We had a very nice room overlooking the back of the property that was very quiet with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The breakfast was very nice in the front courtyard
