Mighty Malmaison does not disappoint!

What a fab hotel! Our double room in the fifth floor was stylish, clean and very comfortable. Nice crisp robes, towels and bedding. Great to have the pod coffee expressos. Check-in was friendly and informative, and who doesn't like a free glass of Prosecco. Breakfast is amazing! Location is great for walking to Central, Deansgate, Canal St etc. Qpark with 15% discount is literally a few minutes walk. Second visit for us and WILL stay again

If you are looking for comfortable and spacious rooms in a city centre hotel then look no further.

Location was great and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious.

We had no flannels in the bathroom which surprised me.

Great location for a theatre mini-break

Great location. We went to see a show at a theatre nearby and it was really easy to walk there. Nice atmosphere in the hotel. Clean room that was a good size. The treatment was good in the spa.

Generally really good service. Shame the gym was shut but we were offered access to a local one.

It was my anniversary and I requested to have the room decorated and they amazingly did and my husband was surprised to see the set up. Their breakfast was absolutely tasty

All in all, a nice hotel with some easy fixes to be made.

The best thing about this place is undoubtedly the location. You really couldnt be closer to the Gay Village without being inside it, which means the rest of town is also very walkable. We also enjoyed the fun decor and helpful staff, and the rooms are well equipped with iron/board, complimentary bevs etc. We were departing on New Years Day and the receptionist kindly gave us an extra hour until midday to check out, which was very much appreciated after very little sleep. Parking at nearby Citipark on Dale St was reasonable at 13/day with the hotel discount.

Breakfast was a bit of a let down compared to other places weve stayed in MCR. The continental buffet is quite limited (maybe dont add the lovely homemade granola to the yoghurt so it doesnt go soggy?) and one of the coffee machines wasnt working properly so there was a bit of a queue for coffee at times. The cooked breakfasts were not great either: my black pudding (which I normally enjoy) was scarily undercooked, but the poached eggs were way over: solid one day and actually leathery the next. I suspect the dangers of heat lamp exposure. The gym is reasonably well equipped but quite small with a very low ceiling (forget overhead presses if youre tall). It would have been horrible to use with more than one person as theres no floor space except for the walkway, so youd feel very in the way. Simply moving the equipment to a bigger room would fix this though. On the comedy front, the mirrors in the lift see photo. Im not a giant, but they are fixed at a height that only a pygmy could see his face in one. Good for evaluating your post-Chrimbo midriff though.
