Exceptional

The people! Owner and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive to all needs. Mr Neuman, the owner provided me with his own bike as the old one wasnt too great. Staff was flexible during late hours which is a welcome change compared to other places in Bali.

Little piece of paradise.

The hotel is quite and tranquil. The staff are super friendly. The hotel is surrounded by trees and is very private. It is a short walk to crystal beach where you can swim and also get drinks and food. The hotel food pricing is good value but it was also nice to have dinner at the beach and watch the sunset. The bathroom has an exposed ceiling above the shower with is a lovely touch while still being private. It is worth noting not to forget to turn your bathroom light off at night otherwise bugs get attracted to the light. Not a big issue, but a lesson we learnt quickly. There is local farms near by so you do hear animals at times. We picked this hotel as it was away from the busy streets and allowed us down time to unwind and enjoy the island. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore and enjoy the island while staying somewhere peaceful and relaxing but still being able to walk to a beach for a swim.

Too dangerous to get there ... and once there danger prevented you from going out to do more stuff.

Staff were friendly. But ... seemed artificial. Didn't feel genuine.

Mostly ... that no where does it say that getting there was so treacherous. There is a steep mountain on which we came by bike, and it was very dangerous. We would not have stayed there knowing it was that steep. Caused some sleepless nights. Second issue was that it was supposed to be near Crystal Bay beach ... which it was, but Crystal Bay was a huge disappointment. Over hyped. Too commercial, and the beach was far too much coral. Thirdly ... flies everywhere so much so that eating there was very uncomfortable.

Jungle paradise.

Surrounded by jungle, comfortable, very clean and stylish cabins with semi outdoor bathroom. Well maintained and lush gardens with a nice pool. Lovely restaurant with good food and good service. Very kind and helpful staff made our stay even better.
