Some of the staff was atrocious. Particularly a woman at the front desk named Irene. The hotel's wifi was down for a day and a half in our room, which led us to have to pay for our phone provider's international data plan on those days. We originally spoke with a very kind woman named Agatha (spelling may be wrong) who was so apologetic and tried her hardest to come up with a solution. She even offered to refund part of our stay for the inconvenience. When we told her the reservation is through booking.com, she said it might be more difficult to issue a refund. Instead, we asked if it was possible to get the breakfast buffet for free for the duration of our stay and she was happy to oblige BOTH my husband and I. When we went to breakfast the next morning, only I was allowed the buffet for free, which is when we noticed a mistake on our booking--I was the only guest listed. I admit this was an error on my part as I selected the "two guest" room option on booking.com without realizing it didn't automatically assume there would be two guests on the booking reference. This is when we had to deal with Irene. Irene was absolutely set on making sure only one of us was allowed the free breakfast just for that one day and we would have to pay the 22 euros for my husband. We explained our conversation with Agatha over the phone the day prior to all of this, but sadly Agatha didn't document it properly in their system. Because of this, Irene did not believe that Agatha had actually agreed to this accommodation and refused any further accommodation in the most smug way she could. Her supervisor, whose name I don't remember, came by speaking Spanish to Irene while she and I spoke English. Her supervisor didn't realize my husband's first language is Spanish, so he caught her telling Irene to "just let the manager handle this. Stop talking to them. They're not worth it.
