I am cheated

1)My booking included dinner (& breakfast). At the propery they said dinner not included despite this is explicit in my booking confirmation from Booking.com. 2) The room description confirmed dining area etc to the booked room. No such in the room. I was told to file complain with Booking.com. Hotel did not want to rectify the situation.

Good hotel with attentive staff

We stayed 4 nights at Happy Life over the new year Rooms were refurbished, very comfortable beds. Hotel bathroom looked like they took over the previous hotel and not much done to it. Breakfast came with the room. Breakfast was adequate spread with egg station, fresh noodle station. Food was delicious. One of our rooms had a great view and we could see the fireworks on New Year's Eve! It is walking distance to Ben Thanh market (5min) and all the surrounding places and restaurants, 10min walk to Saigon Centre so we could walk back after dinner. We did manicure at one of the salon at the corner, there is another 70s hair salon right on the ground floor. A chocolate specialty cafe was just round the corner. Staff were very warm and very helpful. They were concerned when one of us ordered a Grab bike and even checked that the rider and the booking were the same. We used Grabcar often. The pool was small but it had a great view. We were given 1-for-1 welcome drinks voucher for the rooftop bar, which we used on our first evening and watched the sunset. Overall a good hotel with attentive staff :)

We had 2 rooms. One had bathtub with a great view - but the shower screen couldn't close properly so water kept spilling out when we used the shower in the tub. Would be good to repair it. as the floor was marble, need to be careful when getting out of the tub. Another room had no bathtub, it a nice rain shower but no view. We didn't stay in the room much so it wasn't a big deal. They could give us another room with a bathtub the next day but we decided not to change room.

Comfortable stay - lovely staff

Great location, fantastic staff, very helpful and friendly. Room is spacious and clean. Walking distance to Ben Thanh market. Surrounded by nice restaurants.

Location, price, cleanliness, breakfast buffet was great!! Really cute decoration during Christmas too and staff were very friendly.

Our room did not have a window with view of the outside.

started poorly but improved with the efforts of the staff.

the property botched our booking and put us in a downgraded room even after having an extra day to sort it out. the night staff were not equipped to fix the problems left to them. the day staff tried to make up for the initial problems. Trixie, Gigi and Jade were all great. The boys on night shift struggled though.
